You guide me through the happy and the sad

The guilty and the mad

My life is guided by you

I trust you

We are lovers

You bring my life colours

I don't know what I would do without you

My love

An invisible force is said to pull you in the right direction, the direction that is right, the direction that you are fated to be in.

Although my invisible force isn't at all invisible, it has a loving embrace and a strong-willed heart. Suga guides me through the hard times, he is my lighthouse on a stormy night.

I wouldn't ever do anything without Suga's approval because I know he would always choose the option that would benefit me the most, whether or not it benefited him too.

He would always want what is best for me, and I wish the same for him.

"Daddy! Papa won't let me go to the cinemas with Hiro-chan!" My teenage boy Hotaru complained to me.

"Do you know why?" I chuckled and took off my glasses.

"BECAUSE HE HAS A TEST TOMORROW!!!"

"SHUT UP NATSU! I WILL TELL THEM ABOUT YOUR BOYFRIEND!"

My 21-year-old daughter came storming into the living room. "You said WHAT?! WELL GUESS WHAT TARU, I THINK U HAVE A CRUSH ON SAICHIRO!"

They continued to bicker like...any other pair of siblings until my husband also barged into my work office.

"HOTARU. NATSUKI. STOP YELLING!" Suga shouted at both our children.

I laughed. "Your Papa is right you know. Hotaru, what kind of test do you have tomorrow?"

He sulked and looked at the floor. "English."

I got up and guided him to the door. "And you know English is your lowest grade."

Winking at my husband in a sign that I got this covered, we both went out of my office and I brought him to his room.

"But Daddy, I really want to go out with Hiro-chan." He said to me sitting on his bed.

"Okay...how about you call Saichiro-kun that you will be there in half-an-hour. Study for an hour and I'll let you go with him." I smiled. "Deal?"

He mumbled something so himself then spoke to me. "Deal..."

"Okay, well don't waste any more time!" I kissed his forehead and walked out of his room.

Both of my children were a handful. Natsuki was the first child, hot-headed, blunt, and had a short fuse. Although she is kind at heart like Suga, she always wants the best for her family, especially for Hotaru. She never introduces her friends to Hotaru because she knew that he didn't like socializing.

Hotaru and Natsuki were polar opposites. Hotaru was quiet, a natural musician, and was sensitive. He doesn't like to hang-out with Natsuki a lot because she would always bring her loud friends which scared him. He much preferred to hang out with this boy name Saichiro, he is a nice boy so I didn't mind.

"So, what deal did you propose this time?" Suga asked me once I entered the kitchen.

I kissed his cheek and leaned against the counter. "Well, he'll, study for one hour and go off to see his friend."

"Really? Hun, your so soft for those two." He teased me.

I laughed in response giving him another kiss on the cheek. "You know that I'll always go easy on them. Unless they drove backwards 30 km/h in a Macdonald's drive-through, then yes I would shout at them."

He went into a giggling fit and grabbed my arm to not fall over. "I feel like that's something Noya and Tanaka would do!"

"We haven't seen each other in months! Should we schedule a meet-up?"

He tapped his chin. "Nah, let them call us. They're so lazy that they can't even choose a restaurant to eat in."

We continued to laugh and it soon quieted down. I brushed Suga's hair out of his eyes and began to stroke his hair between my fingers.

"I love you Suga."

"I love you too."

I walked over to the couch and sat while he flopped over me and rested his head on my lap. I swung my head onto the back of the couch and continued to play with Suga's hair. Playing with it brought me comfort, knowing that he is still with me and I can physically touch him eases my worries that someday he'll go to work and never return.

Watching his eyes slowly close into slumber, I smiled to myself. Suga hasn't been sleeping very well because of all the work piling up, I told him to take naps whenever he can so he could still get at least 7 hours of sleep.

He works very hard every day, coming home with a pay-check and still have the energy to play with his children. He is so strong mentally and physically.

Drawing circles on the back of his hand and watching his chest rise and fall, I contemplated whether or not I should try and cook dinner. Not that it would taste any good but I don't want to make Suga do it instead.

Deciding to just order take-out knowing very well that my husband would scold at me, I'll order super spicy mapo tofu so that he won't be that mad at me, his favourite.

I felt shifting under me and a low voice. "Hmmm....I'm hungry."

"Don't worry I'm going to order something."

Further shifting and he faced me. "No your not."

"It's your favourite."

"...fine."
