Joan's POV

Ariana has been really jet lagged. it's been fourteen years and she's finally chasing her dream. "Hello," I was interrupted by my thoughts.

"Hello Michael" I greeted and he skipped to the bathroom with his toothbrush in his hand.

guys these days, I laughed at my thought and folded my clothing.

Luke's POV

I rub my temples of my forehead.

"Can you stop! This is shitty, how- urgh"

Calum and I were drifting apart again. due to my crush on ariana.

I didn't actually know if I actually like her. it was initially a dare, but I do like her, somewhere deep down in my heart.

"Just keep it down, I just want what's best for her, im going out," i sigh in defeat and walked out of the door. I had no idea where I was heading to, but it's better than where I am now

the park is quiet, there's people jogging, camping and walking. I look at the elderly couple sitting on the bench, admiring the sunset. I wish I could grow old with someone I love.

"Holy shitballs" I hear someone whisper. "Luke hemmings!" that voice repeated, but in a softer volume.

I turned around to face a girl, she's brunette and not too bad looking I might add.

"Who are you?" i ask, with no clue at all.

"Oh," she smiled, and I started to become a little suspicious. "I'm Kassie, I love your band, 5 Seconds Of Summer." i smiled at that comment, but my guard was still up.

who is she?

what is she trying to do?

why is she here?

these questions popped up in my head, and unknowingly I don't know how to answer them. I decided to probe a little further and see what I can grasp from this situation.

"My dreams, they were shattered. He promised to stay by me, whenever I needed him, he seemed to be so cloudy and far away, and after a little, he disappears away from my life," she sniffled, before continuing.

"He would come back a week or two later, and of course, I was dumb to actually kept letting him in, and... it's just totally dumb" she sighed, as teardrops streamed down her face, that was plastered with her long brown hair.

I really didn't know what to say. How does this actually escalate, like how do I say anything goddammit luke hold yourself together. don't be such a baby.

We talked for a little, before it hit midnight. "Let's grab some food? I'm a little hungry" patting her stomach as she walked.

"Don't argue with me, Harry slays all of them"

"No! Niall slays them okay" says the girl with that green emerald eyes.

"whatever, Harry slays, don't forget Louis too"

"urgh, no! Niall is mine and he slays" kassie rolled her eyes, and started to cross her arms.

"Niall is mine"

"This convo ain't going nowhere" i snickered, and gobbled a fry down.

We ended up in Mc Donalds, as everything was closed.

"So," she changed the subject. "How's the new album coming up?" sipping her drink as she questioned.

well, I was thinking to reveal some stuff to her, but she's someone I only know for like half a night.

"It's coming up pretty steady, it's not really done yet."

"Album title?" my phone buzzed at that moment. "Hold on a second," I pulled out my Black iPhone as I scrolled through the messages from Ashton and the guys.

I excused myself and pushed the door open as the bell jingled, while I stand out in the freezing cold.

"Hello, Ash?" I speak through the microphone. "Nothing, how's everything?" he asked casually.

Ashton is forever casual with me, except when it comes to serious matters. running away from the place has been my habit since i was young. Ashton tried to correct me, but it was uncorrectable, so he left it as it was.

I ended the call quickly, and stared at the door looking at Kassie. she was on the phone with someone, her face crumpled up in frowns, and she looked pretty pissed.

I decided to let it go and went back to her, and we chatted for quite a bit.
