chapter 3

I laid down in bed as my phone kept beeping, with texts from Alexa and Sascha.

They were curious about what happened just now.

•FLASHBACK•

Luke brought me to that special place he likes to hide in, it was beautiful.. The place was about a five minute walk from my house.

It's a quiet little corner at the end of the beach, and the treehouse was huge, we could hide inside it. Inside 'his' tree house, there were lots of things inside.

"wow why are there so many things here?" I asked and he stayed silent for a moment. "I hang out here when I'm feeling down or anything, my mum knows where I am, so she doesn't pretty much worry" He smiled, and handed me a blanket.

"Thanks," I took it and laid it on the floor. I gestured him to lie down, he seemed stiff, but he was okay.

"So," he started. "Do you have any other friends besides the two girls you hang out with?"

I shook my head. "Nope, the other girls are too mainstream, and besides, I'm just a girl who gets bullied because of small boobs, so I don't wanna take the risk" I turned to him. "What about you?"

he shifted a little and looked up onto the ceiling. "Well, I do have one friend, his name is Alfredo. He's a little older, but he's my mum's friend's son." he explained.

"But," he added. "I don't hang out much with him. I hang out with these guys in my band more often." he continues, as I lay there and watch his eyes sparkle as he talks about his friends, and life.

he paused. "I'm sorry I got carried away talking about me, how about you?"

I wasn't really comfortable, but I told him anyways, it's an instinct.

Alexa: oh god, an instinct?
Sascha: good catch there
Alexa: but he's luke hemmings! the 'popular', 'nosy', basically the dream boy of the whole entire girl population in our school.
Ariana: you mean the whole entire girl population of the WORLD?
SASCHA: on point
Alexa: why did u change ur name to be capitalized??
SASCHA: idk it felt right, an instinct *inserts funny smiley face*
Alexa: done with u guys Gnite
SASCHA: nitez
Ariana: night

I shot up in my bed. why is this happening? why is sascha's mothers words playing in my head, I don't understand?

I pushed the thought out of my head, and decided to go shopping. I needed a pair of heels for the upcoming event my mum is going to bring me to.

"Good morning, welcome." The sales girl greeted and I returned with a smile.
