Lotus: The Waterbender Far Away From Home

Chapter 9

ManHunter and I, snuck around the Watchtower as Darkseid's soldiers roam the place to finding the large water source that I needed. What was the purpose of Darkseid seizing the Watchtower? 

On the way there, Manhunter had also checked the Zeta tube systems which turns out to be disabled as well. Not surprising since the comms system was also turn what were the possibilities that the Zetas would be online as well.

 We've arrived at the large water source where many shrines stood, many of them took forms of different heroes I read about in the archives. I have been told that many heros have died before I had arrived on the world, so this much be a memorial of some sort. A few of the soldiers stood guard and since there was a large water source near me I took advantage; Immediately I used it to freeze all the soldiers there. 

I turned to Manhunter who was behind me. "Manhunter, you have the ability to contact people with your mind right?"

"Yes, I do", a short reply.

"What is your range to be able to contact other people?"  He understood my train of thought immediately.

"You want me to fly down to Earth, to contact other League members correct?"

"Yes, that is exactly what I am implying."

He was a bit hesitate at first leaving me alone on the Watchtower to defend it, since the League doesn't know much about my abilities as I didn't showcase too much. But if the others don't arrive the Watchtower would actually be compromised. Coming to the conclusion we connected minds for communication, though at first it felt like stubbing a toe but the toe was my mind; a headache, great just great. 

As Manhunter flew down to Earth hoping to contact other members of the League, I made my plan of action. Quickly, I made bended the water to make a water cloak around me. 

"Ah, finally some action. Kinda missed it, if it wasn't for this my body would be to rusty"

*Time Skip* Perspective change

Unbeknownst the soldiers that stood in the corridor, there was a person they should be scared of. The woman with a water cloak standing amongst the shadows. Each strike with the water turns a soldier into solid ice. This went on long as Ura encased the bodies of the soldiers together freezing them into a solid, no sounds, no voices were spoken. 

She had to run back to her water source, after all water wasn't really as accessible in space. And there were multiple (around 100-200) opponents/enemies on guard, the water was about to run out anyways in due time. 

It was then Ura slowly arrived at the main room traveling in the shadows where Darkseid stood and pushed orders for his soldiers to follow. Guards stood on the perimeter of the hall. Having a brother as an Airbender, Tenzin made it this process so much easier, as she traveled through the air without a sound, using a few of techniques Airbenders use. Slowly each of the guards were encased with ice, the ones that were around the perimeter that is. 

The soldiers that were in the center of the room moved to the corridors of the hall, where it found many individuals encased. Immediately alerted, it shouted a warning as to the enemy that is present in the room. Darkseid was warned and ready for the upcoming opponent he was going to fight.

"Come out now, I know you are there." Darkseid threatened.

The reply to that was multiple attacks on the soldiers that surround him, each of them incased if not drowned in water. There were no other individuals then Darkseid himself.

This was surely going to be a destructive battle.
