Inside the box was; an animal heart, a note, dozen of teeth, a joystick, and an eyeball. The note read 'Thought of you xoxo'
"Mason?" Seb asked for the fifth time. His voice was basically yelling this time. "What happened?"
"The box I found by the front door had disturbing things in there," Mason said. He placed the lid back on and slid it under the couch. Terrified. "You can talk on the phone in detention?"
"I'm in the restroom debating if I should enter. What was in the box?" Seb asked. There was water running on his end and sounds of doors creaking.
Mason's feet snagged across the wooden spruce floor and up the spiral staircase. Somehow he was determined not to make a noise up the stairs and into his bedroom. His room looked the same; freshly made bed, dark green painted walls, knives throwing wall, and his school backpack laid up against his dresser.
"Are you still there?" Mason asked. No answer just the sound of water running and small groaning. "Seb?"
"Seb can't come to the phone right now," the robotic voice spoke. "He got him into a ball gag mess. Your precious friend is still alive."
"What do you want from him?" Mason yelled. His voice was shaky and tears streamed down his face. "Leave him alone!"
"I want you Mason! The price is friends dies in the process."
The voice was haunting and brought chills down Mason's neck. His eyes were doe- eyed and knew who to pick...
THREE MONTHS LATER
The Killing Spree has calmed down after the death of my mother. The day I received a phone call was one of the worst days ever. I couldn't chose a friend, it had to be a family member that I couldn't choose. Did it upset me? Absolutely.
The figure decapitate her head with a chainsaw in half. I watched her expression go from scared to lifeless from a distance. Blood splattered onto the picture frames, entryway table and boring plain white walls. She fought back well and to no avail she was dead. Father was tied up to a chair and watched the love of his life gets murdered.
Dozen of police cars, news outlet, Detective Sexton and her team, and FBI gathered to the scene. I watched from afar and kept my eyes on Catherine. Her eyes were focused on my father and her questions were blizzard. Everyone questioned him. From the afar, I notice my father was froze, speechless, and had blood splattered on his face. Lights and cameras were flashing in his face.
Pictures were taken of the dead corpse and blood splattered on mostly everything close by with yellow number tags. Her body was taken in a body bag and that was when my father broke down in tears. They took him in for more questions that night. From that night, father became distance and staying away from the house.
The phone rang and startled me. I picked up the home phone and answered. "Hello?" I asked in a creepy tone. There were heavy breathing on the other side of the phone call.
"Mason. Mason. Mason," the robotic automatic voice said.
"What do you want from me?" I asked. My tone was screaming and in fear I'd have to slaughter another person.
"You've been invited to a Killer party. Address is where it all began. Your friends has been invited too."
I dropped the phone and realized. It was at that campground...
