The cars were lined up along the cracked pavements. The music was blasting and from the glance of the passenger seat, there were people gathered everywhere. Meaning that the last remaining killer could be anyone of them.

It took me a few minutes to get out of the vehicle, I kept picturing images of the friends I murdered here. The images of the several bodies parts and burnt flesh. It has haunted me every since that spring break.

I strolled onto the gravel pavement and stopped dead in my track. Catherine was in front of me and I knew what I had to do. It was time for Catherine to get what she deserved for those deaths. Destiny and my mother. She wouldn't have murdered her own nephew, right?

There's a part of me telling me not to and lay low. I secretly set my phone up and recorded the night. This would help catch the last murder. My eyes landed on Seb and the others. I walked towards them and grinned.

"Hey all!" I waved my hand. They all had cups in their hand and from the stench it was alcohol. There was a drive in screen in front of us, it lit up and began showing graphic pics of the last victims and showed myself with a bloody axe. They all knew now.

I kneeled up against a tree and bawled my eyes out. Prayed it was just a dream. All a sudden, I watched everyone's head fell off their body and fell onto the ground. I gasped and crawled towards Seb and tears streamed down my face. My best friend was dead.

There was a sharp string in the middle that once had hundreds of citizens. Bodies fell over against each other. I have seen this done in one of my favorite oldies movie, Ghost Ship. Such a classic.

Chills went down my spine when I noticed everyone I know and loved was dead.

I searched the area...
Seb
Catherine
School staff members
And everyone in his class was dead.

No sign from Cora...is she's the killer? Or at home away from the crowd?

Suddenly, I felt a rag over my nose and mouth and everything went dark.

THIRD POV

Mason slapped the trunks of the trees with his left hand as he ran past Jenna, a small ax held tight in his right. He struggled to breath through the flesh harden mask and as steam rose from his lungs. He twisted mid run, casting a lunatic look over a shoulder, He was sure he'd saw Jenna snapping at his heels, her hard black eyes glinting in the grayness of the morning.

He saw nothing--only thin swaying branches in the breeze, cutting into the cold breeze blue sky, drowning him in Jenna's shadow. But Mason knew she was there, hiding beneath a thick trunk of tree, hovering her hands over her mouth, trying not to make her presence known.

It wasn't like he wanted to gut and open up his sister's chest, but his insanity telling him otherwise.

That what he thought.

His eyes fluttered open and stood in front of him was  the figure. He tried to focus his sight on the murder.  Blood was splatted against the flesh mask and figure stood above glancing at the unconscious Mason. The mastermind bent down onto their knees and took a longer glance at Mason and chuckled. They took the knife against Mason's cheek and drew blood. They reached for their cloak and yanked it off along with the mask.

Under the mask and cloak was his sister, Jenna. His sister. She hid in the shadows and made the campground her home. Her motivation was to freak Mason out. Make it to seems like he's crazy. To get her revenge for almost killing her and ended her friends' life. She was mostly the mastermind behind it all.

The night where he thought he killed her; she injected the suspicious liquid into his veins. The same liquid he got in the Institute. Catherine gave it to her the night before the field trip to the campground. She knew it'd be useful for something, just didn't know it'd be her brother.

"Jenna? I thought I killed you!" He couldn't believe his eyes. It felt like a dream.

"Wrong bro! This time you'll die. After I get done with you, nobody will identify Mason Woodard. Your head will look so good in a jar."

"Jenna," he spoke. His voice was soft and gentle. "I'm sorry for what I did. I almost murdered you and killed Amber."

Jenna laughed hysterically. "Looks who apologizing! It's too late for that."

"How?" Mason asked. "How could you!" He screamed. His cut on his cheek was bleeding, bad. All he could see in his sister's eyes was chaos and madness. The goodness in her was far too gone.

"I murdered Aiden. He was so close finding out about your dark secret and would've ruined my whole master plan. Oh and I killed our sweet lovely mother. You was always her favorite. I wanted to be a better version of you. A quick kill and better mastermind. I want the fame and be known as the person who took down the murder."

Mason glanced up at Jenna holding a several head and chuckled creepy. The several head was his best friend, Seb.

All of his friends were dead. Heads were several everywhere. Even Catherine and school staff members were dead. Nobody saw it coming...

He sprinted up and quickly took his pocket knife against her eye and jammed it in, causing his sister screamed in pain. He yanked it out and drew blood against her upper arm. He knew what he was doing. One thing left.

"I'm ready. Go ahead and kill me. I'm so sorry for what I did. Get your revenge and TELL your story sis. I love you."

He felt a gun against his head, this time he knew it wasn't all in his head. At the end of forest stood his mother and he ran.

Can he be forgiven for all his mistakes?

He hope.
