Skyla POV
Today was the grand opening of my shop. I Was running around crazy trying to make sure I had everything ready.Even though KK and I wasn't on the best of terms she still helped me set everything up and make sure everything was right. I mean at the end of the day we are still family.
My granny Riley said she was gonna watch all the kids so that was a plus because I know KK would've been like she wasn't gone be able to make it and now she's coming.
I watched as the caterers brought all the food in snd set it up and here come Dre ass. He was spiffy asf I wasn't even gonna lie.
"Wassup baby you ready" "Yea" "why Yeen dressed" "I'm finna go get dressed just watching everything" "Dream come true huh" "I mean it's not my dream but it feels good to have something on your own" he nodded.
I headed to the back to get dressed it was 6 and guest would be arriving around 7.
It was almost ribbon cutting time and I couldn't wait. I was grabbed by the camera man and he said to take a picture.
I sat there and posed.
"Okay Thank you honey imma make sure the headline in the paper be fierce" he said snapping his fingers and walking away.
I found Dre who was talking to his so called cousin. "Dre let's go it's time for the ribbon cutting" I said looking Kita in the eyes as I grabbed Dre's hand.
My mama and daddy walked in my mama looked like they had just got done arguing the way she was mugging.
But when she seen me she grabbed my daddy hand and they walked towards me. The whole family was there and it was my time to shine.
"I wanna thank everybody for coming to my grand opening and before I cut this ribbon to let everybody in I want to say a few words" I said looking at everybody.
I looked around and made sure everybody had a glass in their hand and then I began to speak. "This my daddy everybody"
