Shayla POV Today we was going into the city to get away from all this water. I got the twins ready and we sat down stairs waiting on the slow folks.They shouldn't have been getting drunk all night.
Kasen came downstairs and behind him was Tre, KK and Nemo. "You excited about being engaged" I asked KK as she sat beside me.
"I mean it feels the same as before" "I got engaged to your father at my graduation" "I know mama and you didn't know you was pregnant with me, you've told me this story a thousand times"
"I'm just saying if you and Tre got some to tell me you can tell me" "tell you what mama" "That y'all getting married because you're pregnant again" "UGHHHH MAMA, Daddy get your wife"
We laughed but I was serious what if that is the reason.
Sky comes down stairs smiling from ear to ear and guess whos behind her, Byron. They couldn't make it more obvious that they ended up together.
Once everybody was ready we headed for the city. We walked the strips and bought things here and there and Byron was holding all of Sky's bags.
The kids wanted to stop at this play area, Ms.Riley and I stayed with them while everybody else kept on walking and shopping.
Shaydon POV Daisy wasn't materialistic at all I had to tell her to get stuff. We was in a mini boutique away from everyone when I looked up and seen a ghost.
I was walking up to her and before I can say anything an older lady came towards me. "Please I know you may know her as Maya but she is not Maya anymore Maya died a long time ago"
"But that's my sister's Bestfriend how can I not say nothing to her she's alive we thought she was dead" "Listen sir" and before I could say anything Maya spoke to me.
"Hey I'm Maranda is my auntie bothering you" Maranda I said to myself "uhh no she's not she's fine" I say looking over at the woman. "You're handsome, looks like Ive seen you before"
I was about to say something but Daisy came "hey babe, ion think I want anything out of here" I look back at Maya and the woman "well y'all have a nice day ladies"
I can't keep something like this from my sister I was there when she got the news about her passing so I'm not gonna keep this from her.
When we caught up with everybody I pulled Kasen to the side. "I gotta tell you something and when I tell you let me know if I should do this or not"
"Man if you finna propose to Daisy man that's on you, I can't tell you if you should do it or not, but personally the family just don't know her that well and you know how yo TWIN is"
"Nah nigga I'm not marrying nobody you and TWIN already sealed that for me but nah tho Ion think Maya dead, matter fact I know she not dead, I seen her with my own eyes"
"Where back in the Bluff" "Nigga no here in Miami, wait a minute you asking that like you already know she alive or some"
"Yea man I ran into her back home but she didn't know who I was" "yea the woman she was with stopped me before I could say anything to her and told me that she goes by Maranda now how Maya died a long time ago"
"Yea Maya was in the plane crash with her family but she was never found and when they found her she didn't know who she was and said her name was Maranda" "how she get back to the states?" "They found her wallet and stuff"
"So are we telling Shay" "do we need to put her through this hurt knowing she don't remember her" "man Kasen that's my sister tho, you know how much she meant to her" "yea and that's my wife! She do not remember her"
"What y'all talking about" Shay walks up and I say "Nothing Sis, we finna put these bags up and go down to the beach" I say looking at Kasen and walking off.
Skyla POV We had a long early day of shopping now I just want the sunset to go down on me.
My daddy had got a boat so we was all just chilling. KK and I was at the front tanning and she asked the craziest question.
"So you're over Dre now" "Huh KK why you ask that" "You're glowing Sky, here sit up and let me show you" Kk say as snap a picture.

"Girl bye that's the sun making me look like this" "Whatever you say" when I laid back, a shadow came in my way and I opened my eyes lifting my glasses and it was Dre.
"Can I talk to you Sky" "What's up" he looked over at KK and ig that was her cue to get up and leave.
"Can we at least be friends you know I can't stand not talking to you" "We cool Dre. My niece is your niece so yea we're cool" "Thats all" he said
I was about to say something but Brayden came and grabbed my hand. "Come on Skyla I have to show you something" I take his hand and go looking back at Dre.
It really is painful to look at him and then he got this whole baby he had on me with him on my family trip.
Brayden pulled me to a sit next to his dad and when I sat down Byron placed a kiss on my cheek. "What he about to show us"
"I have no idea" That's when He and David comes back in front of us and David holds his hands out and Brayden do a back flip from his hands and then they traded places.
I clapped my hands. "Yayyy, y'all gotta teach me that" I say laughing and they ran off leaving me and Byron right there.
"So friend, you enjoying the her away" "I think I am friend" I say and he start smiling getting up and leaving. I only realized he went below deck.
He texted me.
Byron:You gone come here, ain't nobody down here?
Me:Yes, here I come friend
I got down there looking for him checking the rooms and didn't see him but then he pulled me into the bathroom. As soon as the door shut he tongued me down.
"I been wanting to do this all day girl" "Oh yea well we can finish what we started last night in your room in mines tonight cool"
"Hell yea" I kissed him one more time and opened the door going out the bathroom before we ran into Dre.
"Damn you move on fast" was all he said then he walked off.
