We all was at Mama Riley house eating tacos. I can't believe Sky showed up. We laughed and joked around about some things and then conversation just drifted into silence.

"We sleeping in the backyard tonight" My daddy told everybody "Daddy you not sleeping outside. "You right just the kids" Everybody laughed.

"My kids not finna get put outside like no dogs" Kasen said and everybody laughed again. "KK you can let Trely come spend the night too" my daddy added and she nodded her head.

KK will be over there bright and early to get Trely she be like she don't want her to be a burden on anybody she been like that since she was born. I guess cause she was a teen mother and nobody thought she could do it. After we ate everybody said their goodbyes and the kids went off to play in they text

Kasen and I heated up the pool finna relax. I went upstairs changing into my bathing suit while Kasen ass was already in there.

I snuck up on him taking pictures

"Oooooo you so sexy" I said and he looked back mugging.

"You so weird mamas" he said laughing. I put my phone and stuff down and he helped me in giving me a glass of wine. I stood in front of him and he wrapped his arms around me putting kisses on neck and cheek.

Kasen POV
I was enjoying this quiet time with wifey, drinking our lil wine and just being alone. "Baby you wanna have another baby" I looked at her upside her head like she was crazy.

She gone bust out laughing "that ain't funny Shay cause Dayla and Dayva so bad it's crazy" I said. Shit at first it was cute and shit but after they spent my money on they own I can't trust em" Shay busted out laughing again.

"Shut up Kasen you know you'll buy them whatever they want" "you right, we repeating our life 10 years ago all over again you know with two baby girls and a boy" "yea you're right maybe we can get this batch right"

"Ain't nothing wrong with my other kids hell" "Shiiiidddd you must've forgot last year , Pj joining a gang, Skyla basically fucking up everything and KK teen pregnancy"

"First of all Pj joined the family business not a gang, Skyla just wanted answers and KK just was vulnerable after Brenda died so don't come for my kids" I said gripping her ass.

"Let's go shower upstairs and I can show you a lil something" She said biting her lips "shit you can show me right here" and she took her bottoms off and threw them on the side of the pool.

Kasely POV
"Ok Granny just call me if she wants to come home and I'll walk over to get her" I said hanging up the phone.

"She good KK let her enjoy herself before you try going to get her" Tre said looking up from his phone. "I know Tre I just want my baby here sleeping in mommy's arms" then Tre blew his breath.

"What's yo problem" "Shit nothing" "No really Tre you been real distant lately is it work" he shook his head "well what is it then" "nothing KK" he said and he turned over like he going to sleep.

"Imma go see if they need anything at my granny house" I said and then he raised up and said "That's yo fucking problem, if you not obsessing over Nemo you obsessing over your students at school and you don't got no time for yo nigga I can't even remember the last time we had sex"

I was quiet and then he got outta bed, put on his shoes going down the stairs getting his keys and then I heard the cat start up and pull off. For the first time in 4 years I felt alone.

I waited on what seemed like forever for him to come home but he never showed up and so I just went to bed hoping he'll there when I got up.

The next morning Tre still wasn't there. I got up doing my daily hygiene and looked at my phone with no miss calls or text messages. So I went to my mama house.

"Goodmorning mama" I said walking in as she was sitting in the living room with some coffee" "hey baby you otw to get Trely" "no ma'am just wanna talk to you" "what's wrong"

"Tre left snd didn't come home last night" I said and my mama looked at me with confusing "wait what, y'all ok aren't y'all" "yea mama I thought so but he says I'm too caught up in work and taking care of Nemo that I don't have time for him"

"Look KK a man has needs too, you remember once upon a time you two was all y'all had you know and now he feels neglected, you have to learn to balance everything in your life and have time for your man KK or you'll end up losing him"

I didn't say anything back I just sat there. Have I really been neglecting him? I mean he works, come home I ask how his day was and I fix him dinner I thought I was doing right.

Later on that day my granddad said he and my granny was keeping the kids again and I haven't seen my baby all day. Tre still wasn't at home but he been here and got his work truck but he didn't come in and say anything to me.

When I know he was getting off work I sat at the island waiting for him to walk through the door. Once I finally heard the key turn and seen him we catch each other eyes and he put his bag on the floor walking past me not saying a word.

I went up the stairs where he was in the shower and sat on the sink. "Um Tre" he peeped his head out the shower "I can't really hear you that good I'll talk to you when I get out. He said and I left out the bathroom.

After a while he was out and he came and sat on the bed by me. "That was disrespectful to leave and not come home all day" I said "I know, I was just at my parents crib if you wanted to know" I didn't say anything.

"Still could've called or some we do have a child you could've checked on" "Man she was with her grandparents she good KK" "Look I'm sorry for not being the perfect girlfriend I mean it's no excuse on why I haven't been taking care of your needs like I should"

"Ion even have needs KK, I just remember a time where we talked and it wasn't about Nemo or work and shit we actually had conversations and would talk all night" he said and I got up walking to him sitting on his lap.

"I know we just have extra things in our life now and it's hard trying to take care of everyone" "That's not excuse KK" he said. "Can I make it up to you" I said looking at him "how you gone do that" He asked.

I stood up and pulled my hair back into a ponytail getting on my knees and he smiled cause he knew what was about to take place.
