Kasely POV
(Continuing from Chapter 35)
"I was waiting on my mama to pick up the phone when my eyes seen something that I wish I didn't see."

Dre carrying a car seat while that girl Kita who Tre said wasn't their cousin foreal in being pushed in a wheel chair by a nurse.

Forgetting I was Otp I hear my mama raspy voice "Hello, hello KK" "My bad mama I just wanted to tell you we at the hospital" I said as I watch Dre snap the baby in the car and help Kita into the truck.

"Who is in the hospital KK"'I was silent when I seen Dre kiss Kita on the lips. That really took me out. "Kasely Alicia Riley, Your don't hear me" "I have to go mama imma call you later"

I hung up the phone and my finger hovered over Sky's number. I know I had to tell her but I didn't know how. "Fuck it" I thought and just pressed her name calling her.

"The person you have called does not have a voicemail set up yet.....Goodbye"

"Damnitt" I said and called again and still no answer it was really going straight to voicemail. Fuck I send her a text.

Me:I need you to call me ASAP Sky!!!!!

I went back upstairs to the room Nemo and Tre was in and just sat in the chair with my head down trying to gather my thoughts, cause I know I didn't see what I think I saw.

Shayla POV
After that call with KK I got straight up rushing to the hospital. It either had to be Tre or Trely in the hospital so I called and woke up Tre's parents.

I didn't bother Kasen because he needed to be there with the twins. Terry and Darcy met me at the front desk. "We Dre here for Trevon or Trely Smith" I said.

"Uhhhh we have a toddler Trelyn Smith" "are you sure it isn't Trely" "No ma'am" "well I got a call from my daughter who is here with her husband and daughter"

"I really can't help you ma'am maybe it was a mistake" when she said that I lost is cause how df is KK gone call me like that and it don't be real.

That's when Darcy went up to the desk but Terry know how ghetto she can get he grabbed her hand and went with her doing all the talking.

"Maybe it is spelled wrong, can you tell me the mother's name she signed her documents" I heard the nurse at the desk say.

"Ahh yes Kasely Smith is on floor 3 room 265" Terry thanked her and we all headed up there in a rush.

When we got into the room KK jumped since she was the only one up. Tre's parents went to him and shook him while I got an understanding on what Was going on from KK.

"Mama you didn't have to come everything is ok now" "KK you was so distracted on the phone you didn't even tell me who was here and what for"

"Sorry something happened, but Nemo is fine she had food poisoning from McDonald's and had a high fever she had to get her stomach pumped"

"My poor grand baby" I said walking over to the bed and where Tre's parents was already now with Tre sitting up holding Nemo.

"I see why you was so out of it on the phone sweetheart she's going to be ok" I said to KK but she was still so deep in thought.

Her phone rung and she jumped looking at it. "Mommy answer it it's Sky" she said handing me the phone. "Hey Skyla, no she's right here everything is fine your niece is in the hospital but she's doing okay now, yes I'll tell her to call you when they get ready to leave, ok bye bye"

I hung up the phone and KK was looking at me still weird looking. "KK what is really going on" I said.

Skyla POV
After I got off the phone with my mama and KK, I turned over and smelled breakfast, I know Byron was cooking.

Waking up at Byron's house the sun hitting my face and just for a slight second everything felt so good!

I go down stairs and I see him and Brayden at the island. "Goodmorning guys" when I said that Byron's face shoots up.

"How'd you sleep" "I slept fine" "your plate is in the plate warmer" he says pointing at the thing on the counter"

I grab it and take a seat next to Brayden and start eating. "You smell good" Brayden said no even looking up. I smiled and seen Byron smile too.

Later that evening  I was home getting ready to go to the shop I know it was late but I still thought I would drop by.

As I was leaving out it seemed like a ghost appeared. It was Dre walking in. I didn't say anything to him walking by him he grabbed my arm.

"Damn I ain't wake up with you this morning what's up Sky" "I'm late getting to the shop I'll see you later or maybe not ion really care" I said snatching my arm going to my car.

I made up my mind last night about Dre. I ain't heard from him in two days and now he wanna show up.

Child please I'm a lot of things but I know when I'm supposed to be getting treated right and what Dre doing regardless of him being in the game and having to be gone a lot he should still have time for me.
