"We're going to meet Minerva and we'd like you to be our travel guide and body guard." Emma smiles"huh?" The man asks as she nods"you're strong right? You've survived for 13 years here by yourself. I'm also guessing you have a lot of experience going outside." Chris then speaks up"how can you tell?" Ray crosses his arms"his shoes are quite worn down,and he doesn't have the belly of sedentary on him,he's also fit. Not only that,there was fresh fruit hanging in the pantry. You can't just make them and there was nothing like it in the indoor garden. So he must be getting them from a forest or waterside." Ray infers"waterside?!" Lani and Thoma yell in unison.

"You're no sucker that's for sure. And you've got some experience when searching for Minerva." Emma then shows the tattered envelope"you know this letter right? We found it unsealed. You guys must've tried to search for him to just like the letter says,even if you did give up later on. Ray,Y/N and I want to try. And you have the strength and experience so we'd like to ask for your help." Emma declares"in your dreams! Why would I care? Now get out." Emma smirks"we will. Only if we manage to find Minerva and return safely." He sighs and scratches his head"that's the deal...and with this sh*tty offer,you expect me to risk my life? Don't make me laugh kid." He lowered his head"you want us to leave right?" He nods but then pulls out a knife and points it directly at Emma's head.

"But it's easier to just kill you here,right?" The younger kids screamed as I told them to hush up. "Can you do it?" He smirks"once I make up my mind I never go back on it." Ray then whips out a gun and points it to him"R-Ray...?!" I stutter out quietly. There's no way he'd shoot him,right? "Heh,you sure about that?" His eyes bore into Ray's"pull that trigger and you lose your only guide and body guard." Ray then turns the gun around"I'm not going to kill you." He then sets it on the table before sliding it down. "I'm returning it." He simply says.

"Was it loaded?" Don asks as he shakes his head. "We took the bullets." He tells us then pulls out a small rod with a button on top. "Emma and I found it yesterday when searching the archive room. Must be to protect the secret,if worse comes to shove,the demons will find this place. I'm kinda sleep deprived because you cut off the wiring,it took me a while to fix it." Emma then moves her arms away from her body"well then mister,let's make the deal or else this place will explode!" My eyes widened at this. I could tell Ray and Emma were quite serious about them blowing up the shelter. I now was regretting the actions I did last night.

"This place is important to you,right? It's more than just a bunch of resources. You understand that if we blow this shelter up,you'll be having no more tea parties." Emma warns"so I mean,if we're going to die anyways might as well blow it up." Are the three of us just that suicidal?

He then lowers his knife"very well. If ya'll are eager to throw away your lives,I'll help you get killed." Chris then stutters out"b-but y-you can't l-let them g-get killed..."he glared at the boy who was holding onto Ray's shirt. "SHUT UP!...I'll go with you to search for Minerva,but I'm showing the way and that's all. I'm not guarding anything. And I'm most certainly not putting my life on the line."(funny he says that and then dies)

"I understand. That's fine." Emma nods"what's your name?" He turns on his heel"told ya I'm not telling ya antenna kid." She stood up"antenna kid?!" She didn't seem mad about the nickname,more over joyed than anything else. "I don't have the slightest intention of getting close to you. And stay out of my sight." He says walking out of the room"pleased to meet you sir with no name!"
