HINATA'S POV:

I sat on my couch and turned on the tv, mindlessly scrolling through channels as my mind wondered.

Ever since Kageyama and I had our first real fight, our relationship had never been better. Truly amazing. It's like a switch flipped in him, his entire demeanor softening. He was more talkative, he was smiling all the time, telling jokes, and even being way more open about our relationship. As we would take walks he would grab my hand, or when we ate somewhere he would kiss me in the restaurant. He spent every other night having dinner at my house, which my mom and Natsu loved.

A lot had come out of that fight, not just angry make-up sex, but a big breakthrough in his closed off mentality.

Looking at the time, I remembered Kageyama and I planned to get lunch later today.

11:45

I texted the setter.

Where do you want to go to eat?

A couple moments later the phone dinged in my hand.

Do you want like Italian or smthn? We could go to the place by the park, we can meet each other in 15?

Sounds good. I responded.

K see you in 15.

"Mom I'm going to go get food with Kageyama!" I yelled as I ran down the steps.

"TAKE ME!" I heard Natsu scream from the other room.

"NO!" I answered as I shut the door behind me and got on my bike. It was still freezing outside, but the sun made the weather more tolerable. I began petaling, my stomach growling as I exerted energy. After a while of riding i took a turn and spotted the place. A tall, black-haired boy could be seen standing outside on his phone, his back resting on the red brick walls of the outside pillars. I petaled over and stopped in front of him.

"Excuse me sir no loitering," I joked. He looked up from his phone and smirked.

"You're late dumbass I've been standing here forever." He walked with me as I fixed my bike into the tire rack.

"I've never eaten here is this place good?" I asked.

"I've never been here either so hopefully it doesn't suck," he placed his hand on my lower back and softly edged me forward. We sat down outside and glossed over the menus. I scooted my chair closer to the outdoor heater, my face warming up.

"So have you written anything for the team bonding thing?" I asked, taking a sip of my water.

"No, have you?"

I shook my head. "They're hard questions."

He chuckled, "Yeah, they are." We ordered and chatted while we waited for our food.

"So, are one month is coming up," I said.

He laughed. "Oh so we're gonna be that couple?"

I laughed as well. "Damn right! I expect chocolates and flowers and a hot air balloon ride!"

The boy sitting across from me smiled and looked down. He had his legs crossed and his left arm over the chair, the silver bracelet with the number 9 on it shining in the light.

"Yeah well, you deserve it." He shyly spoke, smiling afterwards and looking me in the eyes. The red brick walls and the greenery surrounding us made it feel as if we were in a different country. Vintage bulbs hung over our heads as they zigzagged over the entire patio, their light noticeable when the sun hid behind a cloud. The soft sounds of classical music played in the background as tables around ours chatted amongst theirselves. I focused back on Kageyama, his blue eyes and black hair complimenting the scenery.
