KAGEYAMAS POV:

I lowered Hinata's finger that was pointing at me.

"Everyone got a teammate?!" Noya shouted, excitement radiating off his small complexion. We all gathered around the libero, standing next to our partner."Ok, this is gonna go tournament style. First up we have Daichi and Suga vs. Tsukki and Tadashi!"

~~~~~
After a couple matches, it was our turn. "Ok, Hinata and Kageyama vs. Enoshita and Tanaka!"
Ok. Focus Tobio focus. Let's make a plan here. With our main source of height coming from me, we have a good bit of stamina that will help us not get knocked over. We also have little weight at the top helping us with balance. Our strongest position will be offense, however—
"LETS GOOOOO!!" I heard as a small figure attempted to launch itself onto my shoulders.
"HOLD ON DUMBASS LET ME GET SITUATED FIRST!"
I guess we're winging it.
I reached for my shirt and took it off, matching everyone else in the water. I went underwater and grabbed the shorty's waist, placing him on top of me. We arose out of the water, competitiveness emitting off of us.
"Everyone ready?" Noya questioned? The four of us nodded. "GO!"
I immediately sprinted toward Tanaka and Enoshita as fast as the water would allow, holding Hinata firmly on me, abusing the chance to touch him once again. Hinata had his hands locked around my forehead and was leaning forward to gain momentum. I felt his warm, small fingers lift off of my skin and attach to Tanaka's. I stared intimidately into Enoshita's eyes, focusing all my strength into propelling foward and keeping balance.
"Retreat Kags, retreat!" Hinata ordered.
I obeyed and backtracked away. Before I could collect myself, his fingers tangled theirselves into my hair and pulled in a frontal direction, governing me into battle once again. I bit my lip and held back a moan caused by surprise and pleasure from the intimate action. I moved my hands from his waist to his upper thighs. We advanced toward the other chicken-fighters, involuntarily arousing each other. As Hinata would pull my hair harder, I would move my hands farther up. No one noticed, even we didn't know what we were doing.
At last Enoshita stumbled back and tripped on the water around him, causing Tanaka to fly off his aching back and lose the match.
"WE HAVE A WINNER!" Noya screamed.
I stood there in the water, with my hands up a boy's swim trunks and my face glaring at the sky due to my hair being tugged. Before my eyes, the clear blue heavens hid behind an advancing layer of grey clouds and an ominous atmosphere. I looked around at the scenery surrounding us. The before-saturated landscape now had a transparent grey sheet over it. Birds flew out of the trees and squirrels scattered at the sound of thunder. I took Hinata off my shoulders and shivered from the dropping temperature and lack of the shorty's body heat. I moved closer to where he was standing, both of us having our arms crossed across our chests. Our arms touched, soothing our goosebumps and sending a small wave of warmth through our bodies. The first droplet landed on the tip of my nose. Then another on my shoulder. Then one on my cheek. Another. It was now pouring.
"Everyone follow me! I know where to go!"
Suga yelled and began running into the woods.
As I ran out of the pool, the cold raindrops covered my whole body, enveloping me in a freezing, wet blanket. My bare feet stuck to leaves covering the ground, and my hair glued wildly to my face. In the distance I spotted what we were running to: an abandoned school bus. Hinata was running behind me with his arms still holding himself and his teeth evidently chattering. "Oi, Shouyou! Are you ok?! He looked at me through squinted eyes. "F-freezing" he stuttered out.
At last we made it to the bus. It's exterior paint was chipped and both headlights were shattered. The vines that were protruding out it's windows were bouncing from the force of the raindrops. It's previous neon orange was only an accented shade and it's Japanese writing on the side was incomprehensible in the heavy downfall. Daichi and Asahi yanked the doors open and we all filed in like elementary schoolers.
HINATA'S POV
As everyone frantically scurried around and helped throw greenery out of the windows and seal them up, I stood there watching, happy to be out of the rain but freezing to a point of immobility. There were 3 rows of seats in the back and that was it. Where the remaining seats should be was the floor of the buss covered in leaves and twigs. I walked to the back of the bus and bundled onto one of the few seats remaining, shirtless and cold. A crash of lightning struck outside and the rainfall increased causing me to jump and bury my face further into my knees. My high light-sensitivity caused me to loose energy and all I craved was to snuggle and be held. A tap on my shoulder pulled me out of my lonely trance.
"Hey, are you ok?" Kageyama's concerned faced looked down on me, and my heart skipped a beat.
"Sit with me." On normal occasions I would not be so bold, however the drowsiness and need for body warmth drove my words. The setter sat next to me, his shoulder next to my face. The darkness of the bus soothed me and I scooted closer to him. He shifted and gulped, looking around nervously. I saw him mouth something but I couldn't hear him over the rain.
"What?"
A crack of lightning and thunder intervened.
"I said are you still cold dumbass!"
I looked at him and shook my head up and down. We both had no shirt on and we're struggling for warmth.
"Ok guys, game plan." Daichi yelled over the rain. "Let's all just take a nap and hopefully the rain will clear by then, sound good?" We all agreed. "Ok I managed to grab a couple blankets I intended on laying out for a pick-nick, so we're going to have to share." Kageyama immediately stood up and walked over to Suga who was holding a large bag filled with fabric. He grabbed a blanket and came back over.
"Stand up."
I obeyed.
He laid down horizontal on the seat propping his back on the wall of the bus. The back of the wall was padded and it was actually a pretty nice setup. The seats were abnormally long, so there was still room after his feet for me to sit comfortably. I sat down on the end, once again pulling my knees up to my chest and closing my eyes, still blanketless.
"What are you doing?"
I opened my eyes again. "What do you mean?"
Kageyama considered his upcoming actions, before impulsively acting on them. He sat up and grabbed me by the waist, dragging me into his legs, laying my head on his chest and putting the blanket over both of us. It satisfied everything I was lacking moments before: warmth, comfort, and
Kageyama.
My eyes slowly started closing, and soon the noise of trees swaying, rain hitting the window, and thunder rumbling was drowned out by sleep and the sound of the setter's heartbeat.
