Chapter 39

Daniel Pov:

Today at the dojo has been a very great day for the second day of Miyagi-Do. Sam, Robby, Rosalie have master the wheel technique and I'm proud of them for mastering it so quick. I got to say my idea of them balancing themselves on the deck board was pretty smart of me. Yeah they fell a few times, but they sooner or later did it after a while of practicing it on the board . Once Elena and I put the bonsais back on the board in the water I walked inside Mr. Miyagi old house that Robby and I fixed up a little. I walked over to one of Miyagi's pictures on the wall by the others pictures. I smiled at the picture as I was proud of me and Elena for our second day of teaching.

"Not too bad for a newbie, huh? Maybe I will earn my way onto this wall yet" I asked Mr. Miyagi as I looked at his picture smiling at it.
"We, both will someday" Elena said behind me as she smiled at me.

I turned around to look at her as I smiled at her as well.

"Yes, you as well" I said before hearing knock on the door.

I turned to look at the door to see it was Sam as she walked into the room trying to get our attention as we face her.

"Hey, Dad, Mom" Sam asked as she walked into the room.
"Yeah" I asked her as I looked at her.
"Do you guys have a second?" Sam asked us.
"Sure, What's up?" I asked her concerned.
"Uh, How much do you know about Robby's home life?" Sam asked as we told her not much and asked her why.

Sam explained what was happening with Robby as I sighed feeling bad for the kid that he didn't say anything about it. We soon all went home as I dropped Sam and Elena at home as I drive over to Robby's apartment to talk to him about it. I got out of the car as I walked into the building asking one of the employers which room is Robby Keene room. They told me as I went up to his apartment to talk to him. I knock on the door to get Robby's attention for him to answer the door. Robby answered the door.

"Hey Robby" I said to him.
"Hey *unlocks the door to open it* Mr. Larusso, what are you doing here?" Robby asked me.
Well, I could lie and say I was in the neighborhood *nodding my head behind him* Is your mom home? *walked over putting my hand on his shoulder to comfort him* Hey, listen It's all right.. okay?" I said to Robby as he looked up at me with a bum and sad look on his face.

I take him with me as I take him back to my house so we can watch over him. Once I got to the house I told Elena the story as Robby was in the kitchen talking to Sam.

"Oh, the poor thing.. I can't believe he's been living by himself" Elena said feeling so horrible and bad for Robby as I do.
"I know *nodding my head agreeing that I can't believe it either* You know, we have the space.. I could put an air mattress in the guest house until we get some real furniture... because I want to help him, Elena... like you and Mr. Miyagi did with me... I want to be there for him.. since you know mister big shot won't.. I want Robby to have a normal life" I said really wanting to help him.
"I agree with you, Daniel, but slowly down for a minute, Yes, obviously, he can stay here for the night and long as we or him want to, but if were talking long terms Daniel, I hate to say it but we're gonna have to talk to his parents" Elena said agreeing about him staying with us.
"I tried calling his mother.. She's completely unreachable" I said telling Elena that I can't even get a hold of his mom.
"He has a father *sighing very annoyed and frustrated* even though I don't want to talk the complete asshole of a jerk, but I know he's Robby's father, but that's doesn't stop me from hating his sorry ass since high school... because nothing has changed about that complete son of bitch, asshole and drunk idiot douchebag that is a complete show-off... cares about no one but himself--" Elena said as she kept going on and on about how much she hates Johnny guts.
"Elena, Elena, Elena *putting my hands on her arms to try to calm her down as she did*.. I know we hate his ass but you're right he has a right to know about it... even though I don't want to tell him myself" I said as I finally calm down Elena.
