Chapter 22

Miguel Pov:

Today was a weird day for karate lessons. Sensei took us to this junkyard and had us train there. Which was very fun at first until we got chase by bunch of vicious dogs. Poor Hawk got bite in the butt by one. I got so worried when I couldn't find Rosalie, that I was at least happy and relived when I found her back at the dojo unharmed. I hugged her so tight that if I let her go she get hurt by something or someone. If anyone tries to hurt my Rosalie I won't hesitated to hurt them back harder, because I will never be afraid to do something to anyone who hurts her. Sensei always tells us fear does not exist in the dojo. So I show no fear or mercy to anyone except Rose, because she's my girl and I don't want to hurt her or anything to happen to her. I love her too much to do that to her. I just hope no one comes along an tries to steal her away from me, like what happened to Sensei and his friend. I don't want the same thing to happen to me because I really love Rosalie and I be so hurt and broken if she left me like that. I thought a little more about me and Rose when my mom called me for dinner. I was excited my ya-ya made seco de carne. I was also excited because my mom invited Sensei to dinner with us. I wish Rosalie was here she love my ya-ya food. I walked into the kitchen to sit down at the table next to mom and Sensei. We all take each others hands and my ya-ya said the prayer in Spanish.

"In nombre de padre, y mijo, y spiritus sancto. Amen" Ya-ya said which was saying (father, son, and the holy spirit) as we tap our heads, chests, and our shoulders.
"Amen, Amen" Mom and me said as we opened our eyes again.
"Amen! That one I know" Sensei said as I smiled at him.
"Okay, let eat *we start to eat* So Miguel told me all about the tournament... he says Rosalie in Cobra Kai as well.. am I right?" My mom asked Sensei.
"Yes Rosalie and your son are very good.. I'm very proud of both of them" Sensei said which made me smile that he's like Rosalie a lot more then just looking at her as Mr. Larusso daughter.
"I hope they don't get hurt" My mom asked worried for me and Rosalie.
"Mom, *rolled my eyes* I told you there's referees.. You can't get hurt.. Rose and I will be fine" I said annoyed with my mom for asking that.
"At least not permanently.. They'll be fine" Sensei said looked at me then back at mom.
"So have you always lived in Reseda?" My mom asked Sensei.
"No, I grew up in Encino" Sensei said.
"Really? Really nice houses there" My mom said.
"Yeah well, just because you live in a nice house doesn't mean nice things are going on inside" Sensei said explaining his life wasn't the best at all times.
Sensei made a sound showing he likes my ya-ya food.
"Mmm! I really like these bananas!" Sensei said smiling at mom.
"They're called plantains" My mom corrected him smiling.
"Oh.. in English, we call them bananas *ya-ya and I chuckled* What's so funny?" Sensei asked as I heard my phone buzz in my pocket, I quickly check it to see it was Rosalie calling me on FaceTime.
"Oh, God, Sorry Ma, It's Rosalie" I said looking at my phone.
"Answer it, Mijo, it's okay.. Don't take too long, your food's gonna get cold" My mom said it was okay for me to talk to her.
"Okay" I said smiling excited getting up running to my room.
"Tell Rosalie I said hi" My mom shouted at me as ya-ya said something in Spanish tell me she says hi as well.
"Make sure she's training hard, Miguel!" Sensei shouted as well as I smiled at them and walked into my room sitting down on the bean bag looking at my phone tapping it.
"Hey Rosalie, ya-ya and mom says hi too" I said as I see her and her sister Sam next to her.
"Hey... It's good to see you tell them I say hi too.. I actually need to see a good face right now" Rosalie said smiling at me but then sighed annoyed.
"Yeah, no doubt about that, Our house is like World War III right now" Sam said being a little too dramatic.
"ha, I wouldn't say it like that, but.." Rosalie said looking at Sam.
"Oh no, that's not good.. What's going on? " I asked them concerned of what was going on.
"Nothing really, it's just our dad and cousin Louie.. he just mess up a lot and my dad gets mad at him for it since it's his business and he doesn't want our cousin to mess it up, all the time" Rosalie explained it was about their dad's job.
"We're probably gonna end up being the peace negotiator all weekend" Sam said sighed.
"Yeah.. you and me both *sighed* you and me are definitely gonna have to be Grandpa Miyagi this weekend.. to cheer up our dad" Rosalie said as I chuckled when she said she and Sam have to be like their grandpa.
