Chapter 42

Rosalie Pov:

It was the next day (Rosalie outfit is at the top)  as Sam, Robby and I were at the Valley Fest helping mom and dad with setting up stuff for the Miyagi-Do Demo that mom and my dad told us about. Dad show us some moves that he wants us to do for the Miyagi-Do Demo. Robby, Sam and I were trying to practice it so we can get it down as we wait for dad or mom to walk over to us to tell us what's going on.  Once we mostly got it down dad walked over to us with a big smile on his face.  

"Hey, guys.. Thanks for doing this.. How you feeling?" Dad said to us as he walked up to us.
"It's a little short notice, but I think we got it" Robby said as Sam and I chuckled at his comment.
"Good, good" Dad said.
"Rosalie and I were thinking, for the finale, we both could do some kind of flip kick as we across the stage from separate ways" Sam said while asking dad if we could do that.
"Yeah to make it look pretty cool for the audience" I asked Dad as well.
"Nah, don't worry about the finale, girls,, I got it covered" Dad said as we smiled at him as we trusted in him, that we will do great.
"What's that for?" Robby asked our dad looking at the wood thing behind us before looking back at our dad.
"That? *walking over to the cooler on the ground grabbing a huge block of ice* You'll see" Dad said smiling at us as he puts it back.
"great, can't wait to see it dad" I said smiling at him as I can't wait to see what he will do with it.

Sam, Robby and I walked around the Valley Fest while we wait for the certain that we have to get ready for the Demo for Miyagi-Do. As we wait Sam and I text all our friends about it to tell them to come an see it. I texted my Cobra Kai friends which are my only friends other than Sam, Robby, Demetri and Moon. I texted them about it 'Hey guys, what's up... are you all free today.. come to the Valley Fest later today.. My parents are gonna do a Demo for Miyagi-Do so my parents can get more students... you guys should totally come it's gonna be so much fun.. can't wait to see you all here' I texted them as I wanted them to come as a friend to support my parents and us. I hope they come. Aisha texted me that she is so there to cheer us on. 'Oh, Totally, girl I am so there and ready to cheer you guys on' Aisha texted said.  Hawk texted back as well saying 'sure no problem as long there is sushi there' Hawk texted said as I giggled see he was joking. I wait to see what the others text, but I was still waiting for Miguel to respond back to me because I'm thinking about talk to him about giving him a second chance again.

Miguel Pov:

It was the next day later in the day as I was at home with my family. When someone knocked on our door. I went to answer it to see it was Sensei. I was confused to see him as I asked him why he as here. He then told me to follow him which I did. He took me to a burger place to eat dinner at which confused me because I thought he was mad at me for finding out that Robby is his son. 

"Good, huh?" Sensei asked me as I nodded my head yes.
"Yeah" I said
"Secret's the chopped onions *I nodded my head understanding* Sal keeps it simple, none of that veggie crap.. Just a hot grill and some quality chuck *thinks for a minute before pointing at the hospital* You see that building over there?" Sensei said to me.
"The hospital?" I asked him.
"That's where Robby was born *I listen more carefully now when he told me this* February 4th, 2002... It was a Monday.. his mom was in labor for 17 hours" Sensei said to me as he tells me how Robby was born.
"It must've been crazy" I asked him curiously trying to listen of what Rosalie told me about giving Robby a chance as I listen to Sensei side of the story so I can tell her about it.
"Yeah, I'm sure it was...I wasn't there" Sensei said as I looked at Sensei shocked because Rosalie was right Sensei wasn't there for Robby when he was born and that's horrible for Robby.
"And... My mom had just died.. I was a real mess.. I never knew my father so she was all I had.. Next thing I know, I'm gonna be a dad *nodding his head as he told me the story* scared the shit out of me... So, instead of being up there welcoming him into the world, I was down here, soaking up the booze from a 3-day bender, trying to get the courage to walk across the street.. I never got there" Sensei said as I feel bad for Robby now that Sensei didn't go over there.
