Two's better than one

Chapter 4 - First 'Date'?

I had spent all day Saturday walking around town to which I found a nice little cafe close to the school and a abandoned park a little ways out of town. So that night I texted the boys the location of the cafe to meet up tomorrow.  After I got their responses I put my phone away turning on Netflix and Avatar the last air bender and snuggling into my bed with my big stuffie in my arms.

I awoke to my sheets on the floor and the stuffie I was cuddling with on the other side of the bed. Being the lazy human I am I threw my blankets on the bed and hop into the shower. As I wash my body I scream out the lyrics of every song that emits from my speakers. When a sad song plays I dramatically sand in the stream from the shower letting my silky black hair cover my face, when a villain song as I call then comes on I 'rest' against the wall. Hoping out of the shower I check my phone for the time which is 10:23 am meaning after my half an hour shower I still have around fifty minutes before I have to be at the cafe which is about a ten minute walk so fourth minute to style my hair and get dressed. I blow dry my hair to give it a little volume and shape before skipping over to my closet and grabbing a sweater that's a little big on me and my black denim shorts along with my converse high tops. I grab my wallet and my phone and leave well after I wrote a note to mom and dad where I was off to.

I made my way to the coffee shop enjoying the morning frost that comes with fall. Back at our old town it was never really pretty in fall but here the trees had beautiful red, yellow and orange leaves. And the crisp scent of morning air. As I became closer to the cafe I could smell the fresh pies they had baked before open. I heard the bell ring and a rush of fresh coffee scent fly out the door as a couple walk out before me. I walk to a corner of the cafe that is still easily visible to the door and wait for the two boys to show up.

Ding. The bell at the front door goes off.
"I think This is the right place." I hear Jace say before standing up and waving them over. "Oh hi!" The boys scurry over to the table I picked.

"Do you guys want anything to drink or eat? The pie is really good." I ask after they are seated. Instead of letting me go get the stuff Orion asks me what I want and after a lot of convincing I tell him and he goes and gets us what we want. Jace and I sit in silence for a bit. I can tell he's still a little sleepy.

"You look really cute today." He says in a crisp morning voice. I shivered at his tone wondering how a voice could sound so hot.

"Thanks you look ho- I mean good today." I respond as my cheeks flash a deep rouge colour. Jace smirks before nodding his head then sleepily resting it against the table. I was happy he didn't comment on how I almost called him hot, I mean he was! Especially with his wavy black hair and icy grey eyes that with the right light had a tint of blue. He also had a good sense of fashion, wearing a nice white button up with a image of a koi fish that was slightly unbuttoned and a pair of black jeans and basic tie up vans. Jace looked right out of a Pinterest board or on my Instagram for you page.

I was pulled from my ogling by Orion bring over our drinks and smacking Jace awake. I giggle and take my tea and a cookie. The rest of the day we spent together at the park. Even with all the kids and parents staring at us like we were aliens we played a goofed around on the park. This was super fun but I struggled not to slip into little space. That night we ordered pizza and watched the stars.

"That was a great day." Jace said me and Orion hum in agreement. I laid snuggled between the two enjoying the warmth they gave off. After an hour of staring at the nights glory the boys take me home.

"We should hangout again next weekend." Orion suggested.

"We can do it at my place my parents are going on a business trip and my sister is heading back to see her friends cause 'it's to hard to gossip through text'." I suggest to them. They both nod before I realize We are standing in front of my house. " I guess I'll see you guys in class tomorrow. I really enjoyed today."

"We did too?" They both say before they kiss my rosie cheeks. I wave as I walk into the door.

Beep. Beep. Beep. Monday again. I slump out of bed get dressed, eat and head to school. The three of us hung out in school and texted in the evening. I repeated this everyday except of course I showered every other day. The week had flown by in a blink of an eye. The homework had be stacked on us well on everyone except me since I'd take any spare minute to get one of the pages done I had a weekend alone and I was going to get to hangout with two hot boys I wasn't gonna spend half of it doing homework. Friday came and in our second class we had a spare I helped the boys finish there work and discussed what we were going to do in the end picking a movie night. The plan was I would set up somewhere for us to watch the movie, Orion would buy the snacks and drinks and Jace would buy the movies. I couldn't wait for the weekend to start
