Two's better than one

Chapter 13 - Apartment 1

Earlier this week we found out that Orion's dad found an few apartments for us to look at. He said they were all nice two bed two bathroom apartments not to far from the local university and a short drive from Jace's place if something bad happened. Though it was a little farther from our high school, however we only had seven months till we were completely graduated so we didn't really worry about it. The area was old but had over the years be renovated and restored to its prior beauty. We had scheduled to go see the first few place this weekend since it was a long weekend and we wanted to get a place where all three of us could be together all the time.

On the Saturday we went to view the first two apartments. The first one wasn't great let's just say it was... small, it did have two bedrooms and two bathrooms but it seemed a little to cramped for us. The apartment complex had a small gym and laundry room we saw before we entered the apartment. The apartment we looked at had a very modern minimalist look. It was very nice but it wasn't a place fit for the three of us it would be a great choice for college or uni students but for us it wasn't the right one.

The master bedroom had a small closet barely big enough fit one persons clothes let alone three. The first bathroom was connected to the bedroom. The bathroom was small and only held a toilet, sink and shower. We could work with this but in the end we decided that having just a shower might be difficult for the boys when had to wash me while I was in little space not to mention I really wanted a bath in our apartment. The room however was nice there was enough room for us to put a rocking chair and shelving for some toys and stuffies, but the rest of the apartment didn't meet our standards.

The living room area was connected to the dining room and kitchen. The living room held a flat screen tv against the wall with shelving surrounding it. The kitchen however was.. let's just sad it only had a mini fridge a portable stove top and a microwave. The kitchen was a fail I mean I need Dino nuggies with out them, oh god I'd probably die. Even though we knew we went gonna get the place we decided to look at the final room and bathroom. The room was small but could easily work as a home office or a nursery for me. The bathroom was barely even a bathroom there was a toilet and a sink but you'd be sitting on the toilet and your knees would be damn near hitting the sink.

"Kian?" Jace voice enters my ears.

"Yes." I respond.

"Orion and I don't think this is the right place and we want your opinion on it." He told me as both him and Orion wrapped an arm around my waist.

"It's to small. And there's no oven for nuggies or a bath for bath time." I say only loud enough for them but not the realtor to hear. " I don't think this is our place."

"Ok bubba I let dad know we need to continue looking." Orion said kissing me head.

We decided from there that we might as well spend some time in the area since it was were most of the complexes we have planned to look at were in the area. While we walked around we found a cute cafe. The cafe had a trifled type of style with all the chairs being different types along with the cups we could see from the window. I fell in love with the place and the boys noticed so we planned to come back to for our next date. We continue walking around the area and spent time window shopping. The area was filled with boutique, we were even given some product samples from a few of the places we passes that offered food or body care products. We passed a small tattoo parlour that had a biker boy mixed with a soft boy vibe to it. I kept in mind for future reasons aka piercings and possibly tattoos. After an hour of walking around we had to start are way back and look at the second apartment.

( A.N sorry this took so long I have been busy I plan to No longer post about every three weeks but when ever I can this means that like before most times it will be around three weeks between posts but if I am able I will post more then just that. Thanks 😊 )
