We were almost to the meet up location for the second apartment of the day when I saw them. There they were acting as if I was never there. Of course it was family tradition!  Every last Saturday of the mont during the school year we would take a family day and spend it together. Most times we would do things like go to the movies or volunteer for some place. But here they were at an anti-LGBTQ rally. They held hand made signs coated with awful words and ill wrote bible quotes. The only thing that had made it worse was as soon as they saw me they chanted louder. They projected their hate on to me as I watched. It's seemed as though their smirks got bigger hell they seemed to have got bigger. And then everything got bigger and louder, my surroundings started spinning and it became harder to breathe. Jace and Orion's voices were fuzzy but I still heard them calling my name.  I could feel their hands on my shoulders but I couldn't respond. I felt as though my spirit had left my body and I stood watching everything my body could see through a screen. It was all to much I couldn't handle it and then...

"Kian!" They said finally shaking me from my state of panic. I look up to see their panicked faces. "You back with us baby?" They both asked to which I nodded rubbing the tears from my reddened eyes. Though I was no longer in a state of panic My body was still recovering. My hand were shaking like a leaf in autumn. My eyes still shot from one thing to the next. But then finally I no longer felt suffocated and trapped. After a moment I was finally back in control my breathing evened out and my shaking hade came to a stand still.

"I'm sorry." I whisper to them. Trying to bury myself into my tiny body. "I sorry. I sorry. I sorry." I muttered over and over.

"Bubba, it's ok we are here for you. Me and you dada will always be here. Do you understand bubba?" Orion says as he pulls me into a big hug.

"Your daddy is right bunny. We will be here no matter how big or small it is." Jace adds as he pecks my cheek.

"They no love mes?" I asked tearfully.

"Who bunny?"

"Dems." I mutter pointing over to my family. Looking back at them breaks another part of my heart.

"Mother fuckers!" I hear Orion say as he stands back to his full height. "Bubba those aren't good people. They lie and hurt others. And they do it for attention and to hurt people like us."

Jace bends down and picks me up. Now being so close to his face I feel the heat of his absolute rage radiating from him. This distance allowed me to noticed the pure anger and disappointment in Jace's stormy blue eyes. I look away from his face to Orion who walks behind us. His face also holds lines of rage and disappointment. His hand rakes through his blond hair as he lets out a sigh and looks to see me watching him. Almost instantly he hid his anger and smiled at me. His long arm reached out and ruffled my hair.

"Such a cutie." I heard him whisper. I blushed deeply and buried my head into Jace's neck. This made both of the boys chuckle as Jace rubbed my back. After a few minutes of walking I got down from Jace's back since were were now at the meet up location for the second apartment. The meet up location was a cafe across the street from the apartment complex. As we walked inside we spotted Jace's father and our realtor sitting at a small table.
