Alex pov

"Jo I...' I started but she interrupted. "Alex I worked my ass off to get here, I can't have you telling people." She sounded worried. why would I betray her trust like that? Wilson was like one of my only friends besides Mer. Now why would I try to lose my only friend?

"Jo I would never. You're like the only person I like." I tell her I all honesty. "And before you say anything not in the mushy sick puppy kinda way. The best friend kinda way." She laughed and shook her head. "Only you Alex Karev." She playfully hit my leg.

We spent hours upon hours talking about our lives. She felt like the only person I could trust. I told her about my mother and how my father was a dead beat. She told my about living in her car and more detail about her husband. She even told me about her best friend Atticus Lincoln.

For once in my life, I felt happy. I felt safe. Oh lord. This is how Mer felt with McDreamy. Isn't it? Or how Arizona feels with Torres. Or how Izzie felt with Denny.

After Jo left to go home I went straight to Mer. No I wasn't going to tell her about Jo, I was going to ask how she was. I mean she just broke up with the love of her life, because she was scared.

"Mer!" I yelled, as I ran into her room. To see her and Cristina in the bed like normal. "Evil Spawn. Go away." Cristina said, sleepily. "Meredith get back with McDreamy." Both Cristina and Meredith popped up from the bed and looked at me like I've gone crazy. Which I probably have. I mean it runs in the family.

"McDreamy is the love of your life and your ruining it cause your scared. You worried that it won't work in the long run or your worried about some other dumb shit. Shepherd loves you and you love him. So stop driving all of us crazy and just get back together with him. And while you're at it stop being a bitch to Lexie.. sure you didn't want a sister but don't take it out on her." I ranted. I looked up to see Meredith and Cristina looking confused as hell.

"What the hell happened to you?" Meredith asked, eyeing me. "Oh my God! You slept with Wilson!" Cristina yelled. What? Why does everyone think I want to sleep with Wilson? "It explains why you're in such a good mood... I mean you've been in love with her sense the first day you met her. It just makes sense." I am not in love Jo, can everyone stop thinking I am please.

"No I didn't sleep with Jo. I'm not in love with her. She's just my friend. A very good friend." Cristina didn't look convinced. Of course she didn't she always had to be right. Well for once in her long life she wasn't. "Sure. That's why you look at her ALL the time. You're on the same service as her everyday. Just admit it. Evil Spawn is in love. Instead of beauty and the beast... It's beauty and the Evil Spawn." Cristina said, laughing. While Meredith was still thinking about the thing I said about Derek.
