I woke up to the alarm charm on my wand, wrapped up tightly in strong arms.

Admittedly, I did cuddle into Malfoy first, but if I was getting nothing else from this marriage I might as well get a good night's sleep.

I got up, and changed into leggings, a pullover, and a pair of trainers.

I pulled on the arm strap Hermione gave me for the tiny music box she called an "I Pod."

As I started walking out of the bedroom, Malfoy roused and turned his head up at me.

Realizing I was dressed and leaving he asked "Where are you going?"

"I'm going for a run before work." I said.

"Where are you going to run?" He asked.

"Uh... Kensington Gardens, it's a couple of streets away." I replied.

"I've never heard of 'Kensington Gardens,' is it new?" He asked seemingly intrigued.

"Well it isn't new, it's muggle, and is actually quite old." I replied, in a, admittedly, slightly irritated voice.

"You're going running with muggles!" He asked with an edge of concern.

"Well, this house is in a muggle neighborhood. Where else would you have me go?" I asked even more exasperated.

"Are you sure it's safe." He mumbled.

"For fuck's sake! If you're so worried, just come with me." I said, fully fed up.

"Ok, I will." He said haughtily.

"You have five minutes before I leave without you." I said as I walked out of the room.

As soon as we left the house and started running down the couple of streets to get to Kensington Gardens, Malfoy asked "Can't you run any faster?"

"No. I. Can't. Sorry, I'm not an albino giant." I said frustrated that I couldn't just listen to my music.

Malfoy just clenched his jaw and stayed at the same pace I was at.

After a few minutes of tension, that was more awkward that usual, I said "You can just run ahead of me right it's not a big deal."

He just ignored me and kept up at the same speed.

After we got home, we took turns showering and getting dressed for work.

After we had breakfast and walked into the floo room, I put on my white fur jacket and white cashmere gloves to match the white tweed dress and pumps I had gotten dressed in.

As I finished pulling on my gloves, I noticed Malfoy looking at me oddly, so I asked " What are you looking at?"

"Why are you putting on gloves and a coat to stay in the office?" He asked, confused.

"Well, firstly, the ministry atrium has an open top, and secondly, we're taking all of the aurors being added onto the big case to the different crime scenes we have so far. In fact, I recommend you wear a coat too." I said

"Alright." Malfoy said, and grabbed a jacket and finished putting it on as I went through the floo before him.

I wouldn't have necessarily waited for him, but since he, apparently, flooed right after me, we walked to the auror offices together.

When we walked into the auror offices about five minutes early, I instantly saw a familiar head of curly, golden-brown hair facing Harry, engaged in conversation.
