For the Kids

What should I write -
To the kids who look up to me;
Well, I hope they see the troubled boy in me,
Hope they know they are not alone in the sea.

What should I write -
To the kids who see a hero in me;
Well, I'm not a hero to begin,
Just another lonely kid who can dream,
Surfing the universe for who he should be.

What should I write -
To the lonely loners who can't sleep;
Well, know you are not alone.
I see shadows creep in my sleep,
Darkness, I'm swimming deep.
But I learnt to control it,
Found peace in it.

What should I write -
To the kids wanting to find their purpose;
Well, there's something greater than reality,
Greater than imagination,
Greater than education, that chains our minds,
Be free, and see ye the divinity,
Of the universe, find your path,
That's the key to  longetivity,
Don't follow the hype,
Spread your wings, see you can fly high.

I followed a revolution,
That was inside my mind.
Created an idea,
Then painted the words.
Hope you don't sleep behind,
And get left with only the dreams.

I promise you,
You can go further than you think,
You can be greater than you imagine,
Find your self lonely loner,
Tell your story.
