Mistakes

Previously: I grab his wrist and he looks back up. "Please stay. We don't have to do anything, I just want to be close to you." I say sheepishly.

"I thought you'd never ask." Smirking while I moved over for him to sleep in the bed with me.

"Goodnight, Adrien."

"Goodnight, princess."

Silence. Earth crushing, heart racing, bitter silence fills room. The thick air is suffocating, like there's a massive weight on my chest as I roll over, not being able to bare looking at her.

Did she notice? She didn't say anything? Holy shit, is that the sound of my heart? I grip my chest tightly trying to make sure I'm not going crazy. My heart is about to beat out of my chest, I need to calm down. I close my eyes and think about other things to put me to sleep. I have about 2 hours before I have to wake up, I need to get to sleep.

Finally after several heart pounding, sweaty, nervous minutes I drift to sleep.

Plagg lightly smacks my face until I open my eyes. I start speaking only for him to press his small paws to my mouth. Right, I'm at Marinettes. He points to his wrist as though he was wearing a watch to symbol the time. I grab my phone to check and see it's the time I usually wake up at. I smirk at him and he rolls his eyes. I use the skills from being Chat Noir to quietly get dressed, transform and leap out the window. I leap from building to building and watch the sun begin to rise. I hop into an alley, detransforming after my feet hit the pavement. I round the corner, get in my car and start the short drive to school.

Plagg flies out of my pocket, "So what was last night?"

I shift in the sit uncomfortably. "What about last night?"

"Really? The kissing and cuddling and nakedness?" He makes a gagging sound at me from the dashboard. "And calling her 'princess' this morning, too? Didn't we talk about not confusing her? Or, I don't know, not exposing your secret identity?"

"I got carried away last night, okay? Alya and Nino were no help either, I didn't expect them or the dares. I didn't expect everything to go so far. You're right, I need to break things off with Kagami and stop seeing her so much as Chat." I sigh.

"I'll believe that when I see it." He said under his breath.

"What was that?"

"I said 'I'll believe it when I see it.' because you've already said this but you aren't doing it."

"It's barely been a day! I'm still processing everything that's happened between us, Plagg. I just need a second to get my head straight."

The kwami layed back on the dashboard with a snarky sigh sort of laugh.

"What?" I asked.

"What you said was just funny."

"How was that funny?" I pull into the parking lot at school and park towards the back so no passerbys would see our conversation.

"It's just, how do you think she feels?" He said floating up with his arms crossed. He was defensive in a way I've never seen before. His sense of justice was so clear when it came to Marinette and understand different circumstances, it would be so cute. But right now, it just riddled me with guilt again. He was right.

I hung my head in shame. I crossed my arms and laid my head on them over the steering wheel. He sat on one of my hands and said, "Look, Adrien. I know this is a lot for you. You've basically fallen in love all over again in 24 hours from two halves of yourself with two halves of the girl you love. There's also two other possible love interests, so I get it. But she doesn't know half of what you do, that's gotta be confusing. If you love her that much, you'd think about how she'd feel."
