Previously: I snap awake and see my hands gripping Alyas arms as she looks panicked above me on my bed. It was just a nightmare. A really, really fucked up nightmare.

"Yo, girl! Are you okay?" She asks worriedly, trying to pry my death grip off her forearms.

"Just hug me." I say quietly, grabbing her and holding her tight.

I cling to Alya, not realizing how much time has past and not really caring. I feel movement on the end of my bed and open my eyes to see Nino and Adrien sneaking into my bed.

"Jesus, Marinette! You look like shit." Nino exclaims in a joking but obviously worried manner. Alya breaks the hug to punch him in the arm and he yelps, saying he didn't understand what he said was wrong.

"Yeah, I feel like shit too. I've had nightmares all night and my head is pounding." I reach over to grab some water to take my pain meds with.

"Is that why you needed a hug? What happened in your dream? Alya asked.

"Long story short, everyone but me ended up dying in an akuma attack." I say shortly, taking a sip of water and getting ready to throw my pills back.

"Hey, Mari? Don't you think you should eat before you take those? You could get sick from doing that." Adrien says, grabbing my wrist slightly to stop me.

"You're right. Let me go grab some food." I begin, trying to pull myself out of bed. Everyone scrambles around the bed trying to get me to stop moving when Alya volunteers herself and Nino to run down to the bakery to search for food. I thank them and they drop through the trap door going downstairs leaving Adrien and I alone.

"Are you doing okay?" I feel a warmth on my hand as he cautiously grabs onto it. His beautiful green eyes attempt to bore into my soul but I don't give in. That dream really messed me up.

"Yeah, I just," I close my eyes and breathe in, squeezing his hand back, "I've had a bad 48 hours, ya know?" I give a half smile to his concerned face.

"I know. I just wanna make sure you're okay. You know you can tell me anything." He says, leaning in a little bit.

"I know, Adrien. Thank you." I rest my shoulders and take a deep breath, not realizing I've been holding one in. "Why don't we do something chill tonight?"

"Whatcha thinking?"

"Hmmm," I scratch my chin pondering. "I'm not too sure, what do you think?"

"What if we made a fort?" He says brightly, almost like a little kid.

"Oh my god, yes!" I say grabbing his hands in excitement.

"What are we 'Oh my god, yes'-ing?" Alya asks, popping her head through the door with Nino.

"We're going to make a fort, Alya!" I exclaim.

"Are you sure you should be doing all that in your condition?" Nino questions, gesturing at his head.

"I should be fine, plus it won't take long. We just have to hang a few sheets and blankets around the room and then I can lay down in the fort. Nothing strenuous at all." I say confidently, letting Adrien go first down the ladder. I throw down my pillows and blankets to Nino an follow suit behind Adrien. He stays close to me on the stairs, ready to catch me if I slip since he knows I'm so clumsy.

We all start needlessly tossing sheets around and tying them to different ends of my desk or bed frame. After getting that set up we all crawl inside with 4 blankets, two for the ground and two for us. Grabbing every pillow in the room we shove them inside with us.
