Previously: She opens her mouth and hesitates before asking quietly, "How did this all happen, Adrien?"

The way she said it made my heart sink. I felt an intense sensation of guilt run through my body. She reached up to my face with a frail touch and wiped away a tear that had slipped out. I clear my throat and begin explaining. I watch as her eyes grow wide and as she hides her face from embarrassment the further I tell the story.

~This chapter is written in Marinette's POV~

This is a disaster. I continue to hide my face in my hands when I feel Adrien's hands lightly trying to pull them down. I look up between my lashes and finger tips and see his beautiful green eyes worriedly staring back at me. "T-That really happened? Y-You saw...my..?"

Adrien fidgets around and shoots a hand to the back of his neck as his face turns as bright red as Tikki. "I-I didn't see your, uh," he coughs uncomfortablly, y-you're, lady parts."

I breathe a sigh of relief. "Okay, well, at least that was covered. Clearly you saw my, uh..."

"You're nice derriere?" He says blatantly, shocking us both. "Oh my God, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say that, how rude of me." Adrien covers his mouth with his hand.

I giggle at his reaction, "Y-You think I have a nice ass?" I say as I blush slightly, matching his embarrassment.

"Are you kidding? Of course I do!" I feel my face heat up and he gets closer to me when he says this.

"I-Is that w-why you fell o-over?"

"Yeah, I've never looked before and to see it, well..." the blonde boy looks at my body up and down then looks away and continues, "um, shall I say, exposed, just shocked me. It was really nice and I-I didn't expect it to be there when I ran into class." He says as he stares at the wall with a bashful look on his face. "And, Marinette?" Adrien says as he looks to me.

"Yeah?"

"I-I'm sorry if this sounds crude but, it was nice being in your skirt too."

I can feel my eyes bulge nearly out of my head and my face feels like it has the heat of a million suns on it. 'T-thank y-you, Adrien. I, uh, I-I don't know what to s-say."

Adrien fidgets in his spot again. He grabs my hands and lays back on my pillow. I lay back and look back up at him as much as I can.

"Marinette, I have something to tell you."

"What is it?"

"I-I'm-" Adrien barely starts his sentence before there's a knock at the door. We both drop each others hands and draw our attention to the door. "Come in!" I say expecting my parents to finally come through the door.

The door opens and a single, tall man with blue hair comes in. I feel Adrien inch towards me in the bed as the man walks closer to me and takes my hand softly. My eyes adjust to the light coming in from the hallway and I see the man is Luka. I smile and feel my heart flutter.

"Marinette, how are you feeling?"

"I'm okay, just really sore. Will you grab the door please? It's too bright for my eyes," I ask Luka. He stands and shuts the door gently then walks back to me and kneels down by the bed. "Thank you"

"I'm sorry, I didn't even think about your eyes."

"No-no! It's okay! Anyways, how did you know I was here?"

"Oh, I was riding past your place on my lunch break and thought I would pick up a bite. Your parents must have just gotten the call about you being hurt because I went in and they were frantic. I asked what was wrong and they told me you were here. They couldn't leave because of the huge order for the mayors banquet but I helped them set up 'closed' signs around the bakery so they wouldn't get anymore orders on top of that. I helped them pack up some of the food before I had to get back to work too. I told them I would come straight here to see you after I was done and they asked me to tell you this if I got here first which I clearly have. Oh, and they had me bring these too," he says as he hands me a box of cookies, macarons, and croissants then hands me flowers.

I smile at the gifts, "Aw, they're so sweet. I can't believe the had you go out and get me flowers though." I say with a laugh.

"They didn't, those are from me." He says with a smile.

"O-Oh! Thank you so much, Luka! They're beautiful." I reach over and hug him. He hugs me back for a moment and then kisses my forehead when we let go. "A-And thank you for helping my parents in the bakery, that's so sweet of you."

"Anything for you, Marinette." He says as he reaches up and cups my cheek. We stare into each others eyes lovingly until I feel Adrien move in the bed again. This sends Luka and I back into reality. "Oh, hey Adrien. Sorry I didn't say hello earlier."

"It's okay, we're all worried about Marinette. That's why I'm here too. I rode with her in the ambulance and I've been in here for a few hours waiting for her to wake up."

"That's so nice of you, Adrien. Thanks for being such a good friend to her."

"Yeah, thank you, Adrien. I didn't know you've been here the whole time. It means a lot to me." I say, slowly turning my head on the pillow to face him and smile. He smiles back, grabs my hand and squeezes it.

"No problem, Mari. I'll always be here for you." Adrien says very genuinely. I smile hard at this, causing a sharp pain on my head. I wince from the pain and grab the bad of my head. I pull my hand away and a spot of blood is on my hand.

"Oh my Gosh, Marinette. You're bleeding!" Adrien exclaims.

Luka tilts my head towards him, stands up and hovers over me. "Mari, you've popped a stitch or two. I'll go grab a nurse to fix them." He says as he jogs out of the room.

I can feel myself get very nauseous at the thought of getting stitches. I start to shake and tears fill my eyes. I feel my bottom lip start to wobble when Adrien appears in front of me. He crawled across me and takes both of my hands in his.

"What's wrong? Does it hurt?"

"I-I'm just afraid.. It does hurt now but it's gonna hurt really bad when they stitch it back up again. I-I don't want them to. I'm scared, Adrien." I explain, as I feel the tears stream down my face.

He squeezes my hands and says, "I know, Marinette. It can be scary. Do you want me to ask for some numbing cream to be put on? Or maybe for them to sedate you a little bit again?"

"Y-You would do that f-for me?"

"Of course I would. I would do anything for you."

I smile through the tears at him. I squeeze his hands back and say, "Thank you... Adrien?"

"Yes?"

"Will you hold my hand while I get them done?"

"Always."

"A-And... Will you stay with me?" I ask. Adrien sits back a little clearly not expecting this. "I-It's okay if you don't want to, you don't have to-"

"No-no! I want to. I just didn't expect you to want me here all night is all. I'll cancel everything today and I'll stay the night with you too, i-if you want, that is?"

"You don't have to cancel everything! You must have really important things to do and I-"

"Marinette," He says as he lightly grabs both sides of my face, "if you want me to stay with you, I will. I won't leave your side. I'll stay until you want me to go, I promise."

I feel my face heat up. He feels and sees it too and starts to match me. "I want you to stay, please." I whisper to him.

"Then I'll stay." He says triumphantly as he sits back down next to me, "This bed isn't so bad after all. I wouldn't mind sleeping in it. Uh, well, t-that is if y-you'll let me?"

I laugh, "Of course you can. Just don't hog all my blankets!"

Adrien fake pouts, "But, princess! I'll be so cold without them all!" He says laughing, then jumping a little.

Did he just call me princess? There's no way... The door pushes open with the nurse and Luka returning to give me my stitches again. I forget everything else when she pulls the needle out. I feel Adrien intertwine our fingers and I turn to him and smile to see him already giving me a sort of melancholy smile back.
