Trojan Horse

Previously: I grab the horseshoe off my belt. "Voyage!" I swing the horseshoe in a circle to create a portal around the corner from Adriens house. "Let's go." I grip Scarabellas hand in mine and take her through the portal.

This chapter is in both Marinettes POV and Adriens and I will mark which is which

Marinettes POV:

On the other side of the hole, we come out onto the roof a few buildings away. Sneaking over to the ledge we watch as Nino stands around the corner from the Agreste mansions front gate. We see him make a few calls and he finally gets ahold of the person he keeps ringing.

"Come outside. Now." He voice seething. He doesn't continue the conversation and just hangs up. He saunters in front of the gate as the mansion doors swing open.

"Get ready, Scarabella. We don't know what's going happen down there." Alya stands, going to jump off the building when I snatch her hand to stop her. "Before you go, I need to tell you the most important thing about being Ladybug."

She cocks an eyebrow up and tilts her head at me, giving a small nod for me to go on. "You have to be able to separate your emotions. People we love are akumatized and/or attacked all the time. It's hard to watch and they don't know it's a loved one trying to stop them, they're just forced to see you as an enemy. You have to separate your emotions and be able to think as clearly as possible."

I let go of her wrist and she looks over her shoulder, watching the Agreste mansions front gate slowly open. "Do you believe in me?" She asks quietly.

"Of course I do." I confirm, crouching down a little more.

"Then I can do this. Stay in touch." She winks as we both put our earbud in.

"I'll be your second pair of eyes and ears. Now hurry."

She brings her two fingers to her forhead and does a quick salute to me before jumping off the top of the building, swinging across to Adriens house. I get into position and watch the scene unfold in front of me. This is going to be a chaotic. I just hope Chat Noir can get here quickly.

Seconds pass while Adrien calls out to Nino and the gate finally opens. Nino wastes no time, charging at him with full force trying to punch him in the face. The model jumps back taken off guard.

"Nino! What the fuck!" He yells, dodging again.

"Hey, Scarabella? You gonna jump in any time soon?" I question into the earpiece.

"In a second."

"In a second, Adrien is going to get punched in the face!" I yell back.

"I just want to see something." She says back.

"Alya please don't waste time."

"I'm not! What, are you scared my boyfriend is gonna beat your boyfriend up?" She snickers into the earbud.

"No, I think Adrien- hey wait! He's not my boyfriend!" I say, flustered. I stare at her on the building as she watches the fight intensely. She really is watching for something.

"You're using Marinette!" Nino screamed, bringing my attention back to them.

"What are you talking about?" Adrien jumps away from Nino, running back towards his front door.

"You can't run away from this, Adrien. Your front door is locked and your security is down!" His eyes light up a little bit as Adrien tries to open his front door. I never noticed that before.
