"What's the date? The exact date" Five asked as placed a chopping board down on t [he table and let out a heavy sigh.

"The 24" Vanya told him.

"Of what?" He questioned.

"March" River responded.

Five smiled at her "Good nice to see you're still here Riv" River nodded in his direction with a slight smile.

"So, are we gonna talk about what just happened?" Luther asked. Five ignored the man and continued to make his sandwich. "It's been 17 years" Luther raised his voice.

Five simply scoffed at the man "It's been a lot longer than that." And teleported to a shelf to get marshmallows.

"I haven't missed that" Luther mumbled.

"Where'd you go?" Diego asked.

"The future" He teleported back so he was stood in front of his sandwich again "It's shit by the way"

"Called it" Klaus shouted while high hiving River.

"I should have listened to the old man. You know, jumping through space is one thing jumping through time is a toss of the dice"

River nodded "That's why I never attempted it"

Five looked up at River but Klaus caught his eye "Nice dress" He complimented.

"Oh, well, danke!" Klaus picked up his skirt.

"Wait, how did you get back?" Vanya asked.

"In the end, I had to project my consciousness forwards into a suspended quantum state version of myself that exists across every possible instance of time" He explained.

"That makes no sense" Diego told him.

"Well, it would if you were smarter" Five responded. Diego jumped up from his leaning position next to River and attempted to tackle Five but Luther and River held him back.

"How long were you there?" Luther asked.

"Forty-five years. Give or take" He told them. The two brothers sat back down.

"So what are you saying? That you're 58?" Luther asked.

River turned to Luther "Have you listened to a word he's said? His consciousness is 58. Clearly, his body is 13 again"

"Smartass" Diego mumbled.

"You know it," She said while giving him a playful wink.

"Wait, how does that even work?" Vanya asked.

"Deloris kept saying the equations were off. Bet she's laughing now" Five told her.

"Deloris?" Vanya asked.

Five ignored Vanya's question and looked at the newspaper that was on the table "Guess I missed the funeral"

"How'd you know about that? Luther asked.

"What part of the future do you not understand?" Five asked with his mouth full. "Heart failure huh?"

"Yeah," Diego responded.

"No," said Luther.

Five clicked his tongue and looked at River "Nice to see nothings changed isn't it" River smiled at the boy as he walked off.

"That's it?" Allison asked, "That's all you have to say?"

"What else is there to say? The circle of life" He called.

"Well..." Luther paused "That was interesting"
