"Let me awake from this nightmare of everlasting ignorance."

'Clack'
Not being able to see beyond the thick fog made my every step, "One step closer to death."
The fear of knowing that I could die at any time; Whether at the time of the sun's rising or the moon's falling, was terrifying.
Death is always closer than you think.
The severe consequences of being blind to the world's secrets made me vulnerable
'Clack'
As each step was taken I planted my foot where I last remember safety was. I had a map of the past; But, sometimes that's not enough.
I still live in the past for I am blind to the world and its secrets.
'Clack'
But after years of walking in what seemed like circles - a large stone wall stood before me.
A wall that I could not climb over or go around. I was caged in, like an animal.
If I were to exceed past this wall... what would lie beyond?
Would a better future stand before me? Would my eyes be clear? Or would it all be the same......
Please let me wake up from this nightmare called life? Take away all these heavy expectations, emotions, and responsibilities.
This is all too surreal.
Let me awake from The Unknown...
