Sophie screamed and fell to the ground clutching her head. Even more images flashed. Wait. Was that Fitz Vacker?

"MOONLARK!" Juline shouted.

She whimpered in response. All of the sudden there was a loud bang of metal.

"WHAT IN THE LOST CITIES DID YOU DO!" Keefe voice rang, but Sophie barley heard it. The voices where to loud. To many of them swarming her mind, clouding her thoughts.

Wake Up

Wake Up

Wake Up

Wake Up

Wake Up

WAKE UP!

Her eyes shot open, her headache gone. Her throat was raw. Everyone was staring at her. Then she realized why. The room was flashing with red lightning bolts, all coming from...Shophie's head?

Another loud bang rang out and in a split second, the one and only Dex Dizznee was pinning his own mother to the wall.

"HOW COULD YOU NOT TELL ME! YOU ARE WITH THOSE MURDERS?" he screamed.

"Dex?!? I had no choice! The Black Swan-." Juline started.

"OH BITE ME! The Black Swan don't care about everyone. They killed my cousin! THEY MUTATED A CHILD!"

Keefe fumed at the mutated comment. "Don't you dare talk about her like that Dizznee!"

"Or what Keefe? What would you do? Tattle to you mommy?"

"I'd watch your mouth Dexter! Your mother isn't much better." Keefe retorted.

"STOP" Sophie shouted, a red bolt erupted and hit the wall next to the two boys, opening up a gaping hole next to Dex's head. The strawberry blonde boy seemed to calm down, but Sophie didn't miss the fiery anger in his periwinkle eyes. Or the strange metal rod that he seemed to be trying to hide in his right hand.

"Mom..." Dex started, with tears in his eyes. Juline ran forward and embraced him in a hug. "Mom I'm sorry I'm so so sorry."

"I know honey, I know." She replied.

"Not that Mom, this."

"What-" Juline was cut of by a loud gasp escaping her mouth. Her eyes begin to water, not with sadness but with pain. Dex pulled away reveling the same metal rod but with a jagged blade shooting out the end. The blade was caked in blood. Julines blood.

The froster collapsed on the hard cold ground, a giant wound through her stomach. Her eyes were open wide, glassy. Keefe looked horrified. He grabbed Sophie's arm and pulled her to the hole in the wall.

"We need to go Foster, or he'll most likely kill us to." Sophie was still shocked. How could he do this? As far as she new, he was just a giant cinnamon roll.

Her thoughts were disturbed by Keefe yanking her arm. She let him drag her through the whole, into the light of the outside. One thought rang in her head.

Who am I actually?
