Sophie swallowed the lump in her throat. "Is that so?"

"Cut the act !" Dex's mother hissed. "I know you have him!"

"Who?" Sophie faked.

The prisoner scowled. "You know what I'm talking about"

"No I don't!" she responded. The woman glared and looked at the ground.

"They said you had him! They said I would get him back." Sophie felt a pang of sympathy for the Froster. The prisoner took a deep breath and looked Sophie in the eye. "Come here." she demanded softly.

Her voice was soft and soothing, and the next thing she knew, she was kneeling with her enemy on the cold, wet stone.

"Your just mere child." She whispered.

Sophie scowled. "I'm not a child." The woman put her grubby hand on her cheek. Unknowingly, Sophie leaned her head in. "You're my sons age, aren't you." she whispered. Sophie didn't respond. All she knew was that it was nice to just relax for a moment.

"Juline." the elvin amber haired woman said.

"Wha-" Sophie croaked.

"My name. It's Juline" All of the sudden, Sophie's head began to pound. She saw images she couldn't explain, popping up in her head. Random images of people flooded her mind, but wait, these weren't random people. These were, her family? As far as Sophie knew, she didn't have a family. The closes thing she got to was Keefe and Dex. They were both brothers to her. Well, she liked Keefe a little more then a brother but that wasn't important.

Images flew bye fast, the picture of smokey air and dry dirt zipped bye. The image of an annoying girl with her armed folded warped.

Amy, she thought.

Then she saw a blue stuffed elephant.

Then a news paper.

Then a dog.

Then a cat.

 Then-

The images stopped. Sophie regained her sense and stared at the wide turquoise eyes in front of her.

"Your the moonlark aren't you?" Juline muttered.

"I don't-" Sophie stuttered

"What did they do to you?"

"Wha-"

"You don't belong here."

"What? Why not?" Sophie demanded.

"I knew they kidnapped you! I told Forkle but he didn't listen until the Vackers confirmed it."

"Wait, Vackers?"

"Yeah, the Vackers." Juline nodded.

"No, the Vackers arrived here with De- your son." Sophie almost sliped.

"No, my son cam here on a solo mission. The Vackers Came here a year ago.

"What? No. The Songs came a year ago. The Vackers came with your son."

"The Songs? Who in the world are the Songs?" Juline muttered. Her eyes were full of confusion.
