(A/N: Guys, do any of yall have any theories on Keefe's new ability. If so, please comment! Also thank you all so much for the views. My views have more than doubled since this morning! I'm also number #3 out of 11 In songtwins and #401 out of 3.8k in sophie! My goal is to make the top ten in KoTLC category! Right know I am at #734. But what's a writer without readers?)
Sophie walked toward the Leapmaster with Keefe at her side. Behind her was the Shadowlings.
"Attention everyone!" Sophie called. "Daggers out! We don't know what creature lies beyond the Leapmaster. Never speak unless told to by me or Keefe. No pulling down you mask and no killing without permission. Understood?"
"Understood mistress!" Everyone shouted, dropping to one knee and crossing the right arm of their heart.
"Good." Sophie said with a smile. Everyone walked onto the Leapmasters pad. "Exilium!" she shouted.
The world around them warped and twisted in weird ways. Finally a scene formed before them. A cold, rocky clearing on the slope of a mountain, so wreathed in mist that the ground couldn't be seen. All around were slender, healthy trees.
Alright everyone. "Keep your eyes peeled for those twins. And hail the mistress if you find anything" Keefe commanded.
The Shadowlings split into two groups of five and headed in opposite directions. Leaving Keefe and Sophie alone.
"Lets go." Sophie said while nodding to the side. Keefe nodded and they headed out in that direction.
After a few hours of leaping tree to tree, Sophie's Imparter ,Keefe gave her, began to vibrate. She pulled it out of her cape pocket and answered the hail.
"Mistress we found them." A girl with Cyan eyes spook.
"Good. Send me your location." Sophie responded.
"Yes ma'am."
A map appeared on the screen of the importer. "Let's go" Sophie said as she leapt of the branch her and Keefe were sitting on, and into the forest floor and broke into a quiet sprint. Keefe followed her lead without a word.
The duo approached the twins silently and his behind a a boulder. Sophie glanced up in the surrounding trees were ten soldiers were perched.
She glanced at the Song twins who were silently cooking what looked like purple mush in a beaten old pot. Sophie raised her hand slightly and counted down from three. Once her fingers reached to one, Keefe and Sophie stepped out from behind the boulder and all ten assassins dropped down from the surrounding trees, forming a circle around the Song's camp.
The female twin, Linh Sophie assumed, shot her had out a steady stream of water twisted around her figure. The other twin, most likely Tam, Sophie also thought, shot out his hand also and all of the nearby shadows came to him and swirled around his palm.
"What do you want?" Tam said through gritted teeth.
"You." Sophie spoke, walking towards them.
"Is that so." Linh said, with fear evident in her voice. Then she scowled "Why would you want twins? Aren't we illegal?"
"Why wouldn't want you? You're skilled in your abilities, and plus, you would make our numbers even." Keefe said, as if it was obvious.
"Wait so you come to our home and surrounded us? Aimed daggers at us. Just to ask us to join your little cult?" Tam asked.
Keefe gritted his teeth but Sophie held her hand out. "We are not what you think we are. Why wouldn't you want to join us? No more running because you both are twins? Or the fact the Linh flooded a whole City and got the both of you banished?" Sophie questioned.
Tam opend his mouth but closed it again. Linh was flushed bright red and looked down in shame. "Exactly," Sophie pressed on. "You won't have to feel guilty around us. In fact, we have two sets of twins here and all of us have done some bad things."
Tam narrowed his silver-blue eyes. "And how do we know this isn't a tick?" he demanded.
Keefe looked at Sophie and she nodded. "Oh ye of little faith Tammy? Trust us ,bangs boy."
Tam scowled but then he glanced at Linh, who nodded her head. "Fine. We'll join your little 'Club'. As long as we don't have to go to Wayward."
Sophie nodded her head. She didn't know what the heck 'wayward' was, but she knew they weren't going there anytime soon.
The two silver tiped twins dropped their respected elements and nodded to so Sophie.
"Lead the way." Linh said.
Well that was easy, Sophie thought. A little too easy...
(A/N: Don't worry folks! There is an explanation on why the Songs so easily joined the Neverseen. Also, I know I keep on apologizing about the shorter chapters but this one was really short. Also it's getting late folks, so I think I might just kick back and relax. Also, there will be a Halloween gift tomorrow for all my followers because I feel like. You'll have to wait till tomorrow and be a follower to find out. Night yall!)
