Ok idk if some of you were waiting for this but I was even though I write the story... Ik. Ok but this is gonna take place in Alabasta if you don't know what or I should say where it is then idk what to tell you either watch the anime or read the manga.BUUUUUUUT IM GONNA STFU AND START.
3rd person POV:
It was after the recruitment Chopper and Nami getting better we headed off to help the princess who kingdom was on the verge of being taken over and destroyed.
After long days in walking in the hot sun and their throats dried and rough. The crew were finally able to get food, water, and change of clothes. The clothes that Sanji got for Nami,Vivi, and Y/n, the down side was Y/n is the type of lady to who wears sweaters or pants but not to revealing clothes but sadly Nami and Vivi forced the poor girl to wear the dancer outfit. Once she had finished getting dress she tried to use her hand to cover herself but it obviously didn't work. Sanji was ecstatic about it now being able to see the curves of Y/n's body, Y/n noticed the blushes of the sniper,the swordsman, and the cook. Y/n herself was blushing, not being used to this kind of clothing.
" I want my sweats back"
Y/n thought missing the comfort of her comfy pants, but her sulking was cut short when a certain idiotic captain came running and screaming their direction with the well known 'Smokey' running after him.
"YOU IDIOT! GO GET RID OF THEM FIRST! " Zoro screamed at my captain/childhood friend. He didn't listen and continued to run, " There's the Straw Hat crew! Over there!" One of the Marines had yelled.
"So,what should we do now!?" Usopp stated.
"We have to run, OBVIOUSLY!" Nami yelled as she began to stuff her bag.
"What are you doing?! Let's get back!" Luffy yelled to the crew as he passed the broken walk the crew were hiding behind.
"Hey, You!" The crew hollered at their dumb captain.
"Stop!"
"Don't let them get away!"
"Fall back" a certain white haired captain said.
" Straw Hat is mine!" He stated to the other marines as he started to gain on our tails.
" WHITE BLOW!" Smoker yelled as his fist detached itself from his forearm a haze of smoke extending out towards Luffy.
Luffy turned back to see the flying punch heading his way before, "THERE'S NO ESCAPE!" Smoker screamed at Luffy.
Luffy trying his hardest to run faster and faster from Smoker.
" HEAT HAZE!" A deep voice boomed from a roof.
A string of fire zoomed its way toward smokers attack blocking it completely, the fire flourishing into separate streams of fire.
"Give up" the voice said with a laugh.
Y/n and Luffy looked back in astonishment to see a familiar black haired and orange hat wearing man.
"You may be smoke, but I am fire" he said his legs and fingers were covered in patches of the glowing red and orange flame.
"A fight between your power and mine would never end."
" He had Devil Fruit powers!?" Zoro question in his surprised state.
"Who is he, anyway?! Why is he helping us?!" Usopp asked just as surprised.
"Ace!?"
"Ace!?"
Y/n POV:
"Ace!?"
"Ace!?"
Me and Luffy said to the shirt less man.
"You haven't changed a bit Luffy." He said looking over his shoulder.
"Ace!?I-Is that you Ace!? You ate a devil fruit!?" I said.
Ace's eyes traced to mine and his eyes widened, but his face soon relaxed his smile only growing bigger
"Yep! The Mera Mera no mi fruit" (or the Flare flare fruit).
"Heh, looks like little ol' Y/n got big huh?" He said still looking back at me causing me to blush and earning a little chuckle from ace.
"Captain Smoker! We're securing the perimeter!" The group of marines said to their leader.
"Anyway, we can't chat like this! I'll catch up! You guys run! I'll hold these guys off! GO!" Ace ordered.
"Let's go!" Luffy turned back to the crew running.
"But Luffy, Y/n!" Nami yelled out to two teenagers.
"Who is that guy!?" Sanji question.
"Is he a acquaintance of your!?" Vivi asked
"Yeah!" Luffy answered
Y/n and Luffy looked at each other and looked back at the crew
"He's our brother!"

Kayla: ok. Nooooot gonna lie I actually liked writing this out it was fun.
Ace: I'm proud of you Kayla, LUFFY STOP GOING THOUGH HER STUFF YOU DOG!!!!
Luffy: nAHHHH Ace I'm hungry!!
Kayla:I fed you like a minute ago.
Ace: Kayla you better lock your fridge like Fort Knox.
Kayla: nah don't worry I already did.
