I have been delaying this for a while and I'm sorry for that just a little busy with school. but enough talking and let's get into to it!
(A/n: in just finishing up the story and I realized I'm gonna have to make a part 2 but I hope you guys liked it! It is gonna get sad but hey idk what to say.)

Bellemere.
The name that always will be dear to Nami, Nojiko, and Y/n hearts.
She was a tough cookie. With enough spunk and sass to send anyone running. You loved her she like was you mother figure that you had always wished for. As a baby you were abandoned by your biological parents not wanting a child in the first place and not having the money to raise a baby, so the best thing that they could do was give you to someone who would take care of you.
It was a cold and raining night.
A female figure that was cloaked kneeled down and placed a basket with a pink and now soaked silk bow.
The muffled sobs coming from the child shifting in the basket from the cold, once the woman placed the child softly on the ground, she then dashed till she was no longer seen by the light of the full moon.
The baby releasing a cry that Bellemere could hear, a puzzled look was fixated on her face. She opened the door as pure shock and worry filled her every being. She quickly reached for the small human and cradling the cold child in her arms as she tried to calm the baby down.
She was confused.
'Who would leave a baby outside like this?! It's raining and it freezing!'
The baby finally coming down from the small fit and snuggled it's face into her for warmth and loving the feeling of somone next to them.
'Poor thing.'
-Few years later-
Y/n was 5 years old now. Her personality finally showing through. A bubbly and sweet child and was being taken care on by a friend Genzo. While Bellemere was out being the strong Marine Woman she was, and each day you missed her and prayed that she stayed safe. She would spend her time in the library reading about the many seas and dreaming of the day that she will leave and explore the many wonders of the sea.
That same day Genzo found the little girl and told her that Bellemere would be coming back. The girl had dropped her book and ran back to the little cozy home with the beautiful view of the sea. Genzo knew how much Y/n had missed her, and would be excited when she would find out a little surprise that Bellemere would present to her.

When Bellemere had finally docked she looked up to see Y/n frozen with excitement and happiness in her eyes.
She giggled and crouched down opening her arms to signal the young girl.
Y/n ran as fast as she could, crying. Almost tripping over her own legs
She reached her arms out and screaming her name as she ran into her arms.
Bellemere had twirled the girl and rubbing her back.
Y/n had noticed something behind Bellemere.
Once the red haired lady set her down on her feet she moved out of the way.
Y/n was met with the sight of a girl with lavender hair and dark navy blue eyes.
In her arms was a bundled blanket that was moving, curiosity got the best of the 5 year old girl.
She walked closer to see a baby with a small tufts of orange hair and the biggest brown eyes Y/n has seen.
"Y/n this is Nojiko and Nami."
"H-Hi Nojiko and N-Nami."
Time SKIP AGAIN!
Another few years have passed.
Y/n was 13 now and Nojiko and Nami now both 10.
Y/n would help Bellemere with the tangerines and keeping the two young girls from getting into trouble or hurt.
She mostly had her eyes on Nami.
Stealing food and books from time to time.
Y/n and Nojiko would try their hardest to keep her out out of trouble but I seem impossible to-do so.
But one day.
The four of you sat at a table Bellemere sewing a few thing of clothing while Nami and Nojiko ate.
Two tangerines
The skin peeled and a slice in your hand as the sweet citrus flavor filled your mouth.
You were really mature for you age Bellemere taught you a few things as you grew older.
You wanted the two girls to eat, they needed to eat for their age.
Yes, you were only 13 but they needed the energy the could get.
Bellemere had one in front of her as well.
"Hey, uh Bellemere, Y/n, why haven't you guys been eating dinner with us lately?" Nami asked as she munched on her food.
"We've been eating tangerines, we are just on a diet," Bellemere answered still stitching the dress in her hands.
"Then I don't want to eat either."
Nojiko said clenching the fork in her hand
"What's with all the drama? You need to eat because you are a growing girl." Bellemere said with a smile on her face.
"Bellemere is right you guys need to eat. You guys have way more energy then we do and eating is the only way to keep you guys going!" Y/n said with a big smile on her face as she looked at Bellemere.
"Why do you both keep lying to us!? You are both not eating because we don't have enough money to buy food! That's why!"
She yelled.
"Really!?" Nami yelled as a worried look spread throughout her face.
"Your starving yourselves so we don't go hungry" Nojiko stated
"Tangerines replenish my skin with the power of liquid sunlight," she said rubbing her hand against her face, " And they are the reason I am still such a ravishing beauty even though I am in my extreme late 20's."
"But your guys hands are yellow," Nami pointed out.
"WOULD YOU JUST SHUT UP AND EAT YOUR FOOD ALREADY!" Both Y/n and Bellemere shouted at Nami.
Bellemere snipped the string and raising the dress with a lion of the front.
"Aaaand there you go Nami! All done! A Bellemere one-of-a kind original!"
Nami's face turned to a unamused face with slight irritation.
"Oh great... a hand me down."
Bellemere crouched down placing the dress against Nami's front, " Yeah, that's true. But it suits you. See look!" Bellemere trying to light Nami's mood.
" You looks so cute in it Nami! Hell, maybe you might look even cuter then I do!" Y/n said.
"But the lion used to be a sunflower," Nami whined.
"Quit complaining! You have to take my hand me downs, or you won't get any new clothes," Nojiko explained to Nami.
"But it's not fair. You get new clothes all the time and mine are always used."
"I get old clothes to you know,I get Y/n hand me downs too. So just suck it up Nami, and take what you get understand!?"
The two girl now bickering both you and Bellemere stood up and let them figure out how to end it.
You picked up the tangerine skins and threw them in the trash.
Bellemere picked up the now empty plates.
"WE DONT EVEN COME FROM THE SAME PARENTS ANYWAY! WE'RE NOT REAL SISTER SO WHO CARES!?"
You froze.
Bellemere froze.
"NAMI!"
You heard the sound of Bellemere's hand make impact with Nami's face.
She was furious.
"BELLEMERE, STOP!"
"BELLEMERE, PLEASE!"
She looked at her hand in pure shock of the action he made but her brain still filled with anger.
"So, what if you don't have the same parents. I don't want to hear you say anything like that again." She said sternly gazing down at Nami.
She bangs covering her eyes and she held her now very red and stinging cheek. She began to hiccup as fat tears began to appear on the corners of her eyes.
"I....don't care... YOUR NOT EVEN OUR REAL MOTHER! YOU'RE JUST SOME SOM LADY WHO'S TAKES CARE OF US! ," Y/n intervened.
"NAMI DONT YOU SAY THAT BELLEMERE MAY NOT BE YOUR MOTHER AND I MAY NOT BE YOU REAL SISTER BUT WE TAKE CARE YOU! WE TRY OUR HARDEST TO CARE OF YOU TWO!" Y/n yelled back disappointed at the word that slipped Nami's mouth.
"YOU BOTH WISH WE'D NEVER CAME HERE SO YOU GUYS CAN BUY CLOTHES AND FOOD FOR YOURSELVES! YOU BOTH WOULD BE BETTER OFF WITH OUT US WOULDN'T YOU! THAT WAY YOU GUYS COUKD BE SELFISH AND DO WHAT EVER YOU WANT!" She continued it felt like each word broke your heart even more.
You were shaking.
You could feel the anger emitting from Bellemere.
You snapped.
"NAMI! STOP IT RIGHT NOW! I WOULD NEVER THING OF SUCH THINGS! I WOULD RATHER DIE THEN STAY ALIVE KNOWING THAT THIS IS HOW WE THINK ABOUT OUR LIFE WITH YOU TWO! I LOVE YOU GUYS LIKE YOU ARE MY SISTERS AND MY MOTHER! NAMI YOU KNOW WE LOVE YOU AND WE WOULD SACRIFICE EVER LITTLE THING THAT WE HAVE TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE HAPPY AND WELL!"
Tears.
They just kept coming.
And Coming
And Coming.
She paused at your words and without thinking she said,
"I wish.... I WISH SOMEONE RICH WOULD'VE ADOPTED US INSTEAD OF STINKY LOSERS LIKE YOU!"

Heart
Shattered.
You felt Nojiko and Nami look at the both of you.
Your tears coming down hard.
You clenched you hand around your shirt.
'This is what she thinks of us?'
You felt heart broken and so betrayed.
"Well.... fine. I'd you hate it so much you can go find some place else to live if you want. I didn't sign up for this."
You were shocked.
"Bellemere wait we can't let her leave, we don't know what would happen to Na-" before she could finish her sentence Bellemere cut her off.
"IF YOU WANNA PROTECT HER SO BAD THEN YOU CAN JOIN HER!"
Your whole world broke.
You looked at her with pure shock.
"GO THEN!"
You flinched and grabbed Nami's hand and ran not looking back as you let out pained screams.
You heard Nojiko call both of your names.
You didn't look back.
