3rd person POV:
Y/n was one of the friends of the three brothers and she loved hanging around the boys. But the one she loved the most was the cute and energetic Monkey. D Luffy. She was the youngest out of the three boys, and only a year younger then Luffy. But when Sabo was sadly killed (a/n: he's wasn't thank god) Luffy became protective of the girl, not wanting to lose another loved one. She was the first person to join Luffy's  crew, he loved her and wanted to protect her from anything that comes her way.
Y/n POV:
ITS MY BIRTHDAY! It's y/b/d and we had just docked on a new island and like usual everyone went shopping but I had to go with luffy. Not that I'm complaining, it's nice having some alone time with this childish captain. We bounced from store to store and stand to stand. Until...
*grumble* " Ah! Y/n I'm hungry! Can we get some thing to eat?" Luffy said as he pouted sticking his bottom lip  out and giving me the biggest puppy dog eyes I have ever seen. Cracking under his cute behavior I nodded with a big smile, before I felt something wrap around my waist with a secure tight grip. I looked at Luffy with a worried expression and in return gave me his signature laugh and smile.
" Gomu Gomu No-!"
" LUFFY NO-"

Time skip~
Luffy patted bulging stomach before releasing a satisfied sigh, I giving a small chuckle before paying for the large portion of food. I looked outside noticing that the sun was setting and it was time to get going, it was fun to spend my birthday with my childhood friend and crush. Yeah I have a crush on my child hood friend but his child nature is what got me to fall in love with him, his goofy ways and cute smile always gets to me.
" Luffy I think it's time we get going it's getting kinda dark and I think everyone is done shopping. You ready?" I questioned looking at Luffy who was aggressively nodding his head with excitement in his onyx eyes.
Luffy grabbed my hand making my face erupt in red hot blush before he sprinted in the opposite direction of the ship.
"L-Luffy the s-ship is the other w-way!"

Luffy's POV:
YOSH! Finally I can show her the surprise that the crew had set up for her. Y/n doesn't know this but I told the crew it was her birthday today and we made sure not to tell her. I told Sanji her favorite cake flavor, favorite baked sweets, and favorite food. Nami, Chopper, and Robin were going to decorate the ship, Usopp and Franky had made some fireworks that were Y/n favorite colors. Brooke of course was in charge of music and I made sure I told him her favorite songs including the songs we used to listen back home. Zoro was in charge of-take a wild guess......sake. Yes.
I grabbed y/n's hand as I ran toward the direction of the ship until I heard Y/n say something.
"L-Luffy the s-ship is the other w-way!"
"Oh...."
Time skip ( and early merry Christmas my kitty-kats!❤️"
I could see the crows-nest of the ship and I reached into my pocket and pulled out zoro's bandanna and I rapped it around y/n eyes so she should couldn't see.
Y/n: " AH! LUFFY DON'T DO THAT I THOUGHT THAT I WAS GONNA GET KIDNAPPED!"
Luffy: " Oops sorry Y/n. Uhh can you see anything?"
Y/n: " No why?"
Luffy: I just need to take you somewhere for your birthday."
She stiffened as I put my hands on her shoulders
Luffy: " Oh you thought I forgot about your birthday huh? Shishishi your silly n/n!"
She mumbled something before I gave her a nudge to indicate her to start walking
Y/n: " Luffy I swear if you run me into a wall I will kick you the the throat."
I shivered in fear as she was normally a nice person but when she was mad it was terrifying.
Y/n POV:
Luffy had a secure grip on my shoulders and making sure I don't trip or fall but my face stayed warm and his hands made me feel safe but flustered. We continued walking until I felt Luffy's breath flutter on the bare skin of my neck sending shivers up my spine and letting a small squeak escape from my lips.
" ok Y/n you can take it off now."
I could hear his smile through his voice and like always his smile was so contagious, a small smile of curiosity and happiness plastered on my face.
When I took of the bandanna all I saw was darkness until......
" HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N!!!"
Confetti scattered my vision as the small pieces of colorful paper hit the floor.
The smell of sweet treats and freshly cooked food wafted into my nose.
The smiles of the crew and their happy expressions made my heart clench.
They care about you
A voice whispered in my mind.
3rd person POV:
The crew noticed y/n silence and worried looks softened their features.
She was smiling with a gentle hand rested on her heart as fresh hot and happy tears slipped from her eyes.
Her legs shook and finally buckled as she cried into her hands.
"THANK YOU!"
She looked up at the rest of her crew as she happily cried the sense of their love for her.
Chopper slowly walked but broke out into a run as he hugged her tightly gripping to the back of her shirt crying too. Then Usopp ran up to her and hugged her as if his best friend would disappear if he let go. Nami crying as she bolted to her best friends shaking form. Robin's eyes let out small tears and she let out a small laugh slowly walking to crouch by her caring friend. Brooke joined in on the group hug his boney fingers rubbed the still flowing tears from her face and she gave him a smile, he smiled back rapping his arms around the group. Sanji's heart strings were being pulled, y/n was close to him like as if he was her best friend the first day that they had met. He flicked the ashes from his cigarette and dropping it to the floor before stomping it out and he sped walked to the now growing group hug. He rapped his arms around your neck and cried into your hair as the fun adventures and memories you both shared flowed though his head. Zoro looked at the crying figures and he smiled before a small tear slid down his toned and stoic face, letting out a chuckle and walking toward the crying crew and the crying long time friend. Franky him self was crying before stomping his way to the other as his big robotic arms rapped around the entire crew.
Y/n was the friend to the whole crew when they needed help she was there.
When she could see someone was sad or irritated she was there.
If danger was inches in-front of their faces she was their to protect them.
The crew felt as if someone was missing.
Luffy stood over the whole crew his eyes staying glued to the y/h/c girl repeatedly saying "thank you". The crew looked at Luffy his eyes masked by the yellow straw hat that was rapped in a red ribbon. They peeled away from the girl but she didn't noticed.
Luffy coiled his hands around the girls figure and she quickly gripped the back of his vibrant red vest, shoving her head into the crook of his neck. She felt him shake as he held her and the feeling of warm tears on her shoulder made her cry even louder the crew could hear the past pain she suffered. They swiftly huddled together all crying. They knew about her sad past and how she met her 3 brothers and how her life was better she she met them and when she formed the crew with Luffy.
Luffy pulled his head back as he lifted the girls head with his pointer and thumbs looking at her face that was stained with dried tears. Eyes puffy and her nose slightly running but he didn't care as he pressed him lips against her lush and cushiony petal pink lips.
Her pained cries silenced as her eyes widened but slowly kissing back.
He pulled back and hugging her once again.
"I love you y/n the crew loves you and don't think otherwise ok?"
She nodded. The crew got to their feet and Luffy did too before pulling the birthday girl up with him.
She looked back at her crew with a large and child like smile.
" Now enough with the pity party let's party!" She yelled
The crew cheered.
The night was filled with emotions, partying, fireworks, laughter, and of course love.
Let's just say love your selfs like you are the best queens and kings.❤️

Hey girls guys and gays!❤️ I'm kinda sorry if this was a little angsty it's just that one of my family members had just left for the army and I miss him a bunch and I just have been a little emotional that's all. But I will make sure to post a story one Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for yallz cuties.
