3rd person POV:
It was New Years Eve, every member in the crew was running back and forth trying to decorate (minus Zoro). Franky and Usopp where preparing the fire works for later. While Nami, Robin, Luffy, and chopper where adding the last finishing touches to the Thousand Sunny. Gold and silver confetti was scattered on the deck and barrels on tables that were ready for the taking as Zoro already eyeballing the booze ready to start drinking his heart out. Sanji was cooking in the kitchen from everyone's favorite foods to baked sweets, Y/n took it upon her self to lend a hand to the lady love struck cook. He declined and repeated to say ' a lady shouldn't ruin her soft hand while cooking' or ' I can handle it by myself no need to worry Y/n-chwaan!' But being the stubborn woman you were you still help ignoring Sanji's declines. Sanji's eyes would traveled to the y/h/c haired girl and blush .
'She so cute when she is so concentrated'
Y/n POV:
I was cutting the vegetables that Sanji was going to use for the soup he was making for later. But it felt like someone was staring at me I could only ignore it for so long, I look at Sanji he look zoned out, " Uh- S-Sanji are you ok?" I asked as I waved my hand in his face, he flinched a bit but his eyes locked in to mine. His cheeks turned red and he stayed silent, I let out a small giggle earning a semi-confused look from the cook and went back to cutting a cooking.

I finished helping Sanji and walked out in to the deck and it looked like Usopp and Franky looked like they needed help. I ran to the both of them once they noticed that I was there Usopp's face turned pink while Franky's normal smile grew bigger.
"Do you two need help?" I asked as I put my hands behind my back rocking on the balls of my feet.
" Uh yeah we just need to set up a few more fire works if you don't mind helping." Usopp stated
" Of course not LETS GET STARTED !"
3rd person POV:
Usopp and Frank showed you what to do from property tie the fireworks down to what fireworks to use. The best part was Usopp and Y/n had been working on a special fire work that would have words one the firework went off in the sky , they were so happy to show off what they had been working on for so long.
Now the decorations the girls, Luffy, and Chppper had put up little decorations but it was you time to shine.
You put up gold, black, silver, and white streamers on the railings of the Thousand Sunny, and you had some little poppers and horns set out for Luffy,Chopper, and Usopp knowing their child like nature. You had little black and gold New Years hats and little beaded necklaces, once you were done you helped set up tables for the food and booze. You noticed the sun was setting, which excited you even more. It was around 11:00pm and the crew was out side waiting and eating and drinking, Luffy, Chopper, and Usopp were running around with the horns and even bugging Zoro with them. At one point Zoro was sleeping (MAIN WORD AT ONE POINT) but Luffy and Usopp had their horns pointed at Zoro's ears and blew the horn as hard as they could, startling they swordsman in the process. They were laughing so hard until a certain tall and toned shadow loomed over them. The whole crew heard their terrified screams but we all knew not to get in the way of Zoro's angry crossfire. The time flew so fast by the time I looked at my watch it was....
" 11:55!!!!!????"
Everyone one heard your surprised scream and Usopp and the boys got ready to start lighting the fireworks. You turned to Usopp and smiled at him, smiling back knowing what exactly what you were thinking.
We all gathered around with Robin and Nami, the boys waited until I said 11:59.

They boys lit the fire works and ran the our small huddled group,

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" The sky erupted in multiple random colored fireworks.
The booms made me happy that I could hear the sound of the cheers of my crew mates.
The colors made me happy to see their happy and some crying expressions.
The cold air made even more happier that I could fear their care and happiness when the hugged me.
I walked up to everyone giving them each a kiss on the cheek and giving a tight hug.
Sanji and Franky enjoyed the affection a little to much but that's what makes their characters interesting.
Nami and chopper ran up to me crying and sobbing a "thank you and Happy New Years" their tears made me want to cry and I did, we huddle and hugged and cries as the past that was filled with sad,happy,memorable, and unforgettable memories. But the crew that I had joined was the one thing that I could never forget in a life time.

Can we just admit that this year really sucked a bunch. But thank GOD that this is the year that we could redeem ourselves and try a little better trying to take care of this pandemic and continue our lives like before. But I hope that all of you started your years off right and are enjoying this year so for. But I will be writing another story again I'll take request.
