The water shock my body as the muscles tensed. Then the water heated, making the ill smell and sweat fade. I close my eyes, feeling water running over my face and down my neck. I hold my hair, feeling it getting heavier as the water running through.
Wrapping a towel around my now ice cold body, I sway my hand over the steamed mirror. I see my green eyes looking back at me as I trace down my body and back up, only seeing my wet hair dripping constantly. I find the blowdrier and blew my hair, pulling on my underwear and then some jammies.
It's not that interesting to describe my showering, but I wanna tell you about myself and what happened so far.
Rosabell Jackson, but I prefer being called Rose. I'm 17 and a High School student. I recently moved from Seattle to Miami with my dad,Jack. And my adopted twin brothers, Alex and Oliver Adams who was orphans, but mom adopted them early. Mom died in an accident and we haven't spoken about her since. We moved because my father wanted to have fresh, new start. Seattle had too much memories to do so, so we moved. My big brothers wasn't happy with the suprise, but couldn't fight our dad's willings. The trip were long and tiresome but we eventually got our goal and found the big house we bought not long ago. Our dad was the most excited one and had begin unpacking before we got out from the cab. It's kinda funny really.
My new bedroom is pretty large which scared me a little. it scared me because the house before, I had the tiniest room ever. My dad must've spare money for years to get this huge house.
Well he's an business man and are well paid, but still.
"You're gonna go on Miami High School." Dad explains, giving me some papers and a map over the city. I take a bite from my toast and replied
"Fancy." I hold up the map, frowning at dad.
"You're kidding right?"
He shake his head clearly while he takes a sip from his morning coffee.
"I do not quite trust you with new cities. When you were little you got lost all the time. Even in our neighborhood." He laugh, remembered that time. I roll my eyes as I chuckle.
"Well, I've updated and I might be alot smarter than my 9 year self."
"Just in case, Rose." He lift his eyebrows, looking up to me. His forhead wrinkles, looking like the typical dad in movies who sips from his coffee while reading the newspaper and telling the kids to have a good day at school. Funny, he's the oppsite of that sometimes.
I pat his head as I found my bag, which was empty, but just wait till after school. The thought of it make me tired.
"I'll be going." I pull on my over-used combat boots and found a military jacket to put on.
"Wait for your brothers!" My dad yells as I was about to close the door.
"Yeah wait for me!"
"and me!" I could hear two voices as one and see two blonde boys who's ridiculously tall, jumping in sight as they pulled on their vans and then got their gray backpacks.
"Ready." They say at the same time.
I chuckle, slightly shake my head, not suprising by them being dorks.
"Well let's go."
