It's been a week since after Chase asked me to pretend to be his girlfriend infront of his parents. All I can define about that it's just fucked up..

"Hey Rosie!" An arm swing around my neck and rest it on my shoulders as the person drag me closer.

Marcus..

You see, after when Marcus and I first met we immediately found the connection and turned into buddies right away.

"Hey Mac!" I pull him in for a good hug as he wrap his arms around my waist and pull me in tightly.

"Can't breathe." I joke , just then he squeeze me tighter.

Marcus let go, which made me take a deep breath before breathing out again.

"So whatcha up for today? The movies? Shopping?" I signed him to help me get some ideas, but he only shake his head with his usual playful smirk.

"Oh okay, then what?"

Marcus take me hand and grin before answering

"I have an surprise for you." He fast leans in and pressed his lips on my right cheek before dragging me toward the school entrance.

All I did was shrugging and getting dragged of by Marcus.

"You know prom is coming up and I have a big question for you." Marcus clap his hands together as he look straight into my eyes, It made me quite nervous to be honest. And I have a good guessing about what the suprise is.

"So I was wondering if you could.." He continues.

Just say it Marcus.

"Hook me and your friend Grace for that."

My heart sunk, for unknown reason.
He wasn't going to ask me out,but to ask me if I could hook up him and Grace?

"Uh, why can't you just ask her, like an human being." I chuckle. That chuckle was dead.

He rubs his neck , hinting of nervousness.

"It seems I don't have balls to that."

"Well find some, Grace would love to get asked by the prom, but she would get disappointed to be asked through a friend." I told him with honesty.

He did nothing but to nod.

"I guess.. You've right." He pull me in for a hug.

"Thanks for the advice."

...I should've just said yes.. I don't know but my mouth controlled out of itself. I don't want to be dragged into this, I want to be the person who

I inhale another big sigh as I walk to my boring class.

The school have ended and Marcus are speaking to Grace, probably asking her out.

"Heeyy." I know that voice. I mentally roll my eyes as I see Chase jogging up to me with smoke in his mouth.

He look...attractive.
He is wearing a black coat that fit perfectly on him, and a nice gray shirt following with black suit jeans. His hair is messy as normal. He look fancy? Why?

"Wha- why are you looking nice."

Not getting any warning, he leans in and softly lay his lips against my cheek as he hold my chin up with his thumb and imdex finger. I can not resist blushing at that moment.
.
"Why?" I ask as he backs off.

"My dad and mom invited you for dinner." He starts, suprisingly interlocking our hands.

"And I told we're together."

" 'together' " I correct, using the quotation mark.

"Yes, exactly." He pat my head as I was a dog.

"You're a shithead, you know that right."

He laugh and answers, squeezing my hand tighter.

"I take that as a compliment. Now, smile, nod and act."
We stop outside the restaurant.

"You got that?" His happy face turns dark sudden as he leans closer, waiting for an answer.

"Yeah, sure, babe." I swallow the nervousness and pull myself together and we make our way in.
