"Please Baby Girl, find someone better than him to go out with," Sportsmaster said.
"Hey!" Wally objected, a little offended, aiming a kick to his head.
He dodged it as Artemis stabbed with her sai.
"Dad, you can't control me anymore," she said, exasperated, as he dodged yet again.
She lunged forward and her sai grazed his face, and a single drop of blood fell from his cheek.
"Oh you're going to pay for that," he said, grabbing her by the neck and pushing her against the wall with one arm as he stood back and watched her choke for air.
"Artemis!" Wally cried, watching his girlfriend turn blue and struggle for air. Rage filled him, picking up Sportsmaster's javelin and ramming it straight into his shoulder.
Sportsmaster cried out in pain as Wally placed a well aimed kick at the base of the javelin, pushing it in further and letting it pierce the wall, so he could not escape.
He let go of Artemis as she crumpled to the ground.
"Artemis!" He shouted.
"God Wally stop shouting like a girl, I'm fine," she croaked.
He smiled and placed his hands on her face, kissing her passionately.
Sportsmaster just groaned at the sight.
"Really guys? I'm right here you know."
Conner: Uhh, guys? Still on a mission here. We've come to an abandoned building.
Dick: how surprising. The bad guys need to be a little more discreet with this kinda stuff. Zatanna's up and fully regained consciousness by the way, she's still a little wobbly but we're on our way now.
Kaldur: Good, meet you there Robin. You too Artemis and Kid Flash.
They pulled apart for air and smiled at each other.
"Let's go kick Vertigo's telepathic butt," Wally said, grinning.
"I was thinking the same thing," smiled Artemis.
