"I had such a nice nap yesterday that today I feel like a whole another person." Dohee said as the two made their way across the school yard. "That's good to hear."

Suddenly Asahi's phone started buzzing and he picked up the call. "What?"

"Oh okay, thanks for letting me know." He mumbled and stopped in his tracks, making the girl do so too. "What's up?"

"Apparently juniors have some kind of a presentation in the main hall so we won't have first two classes." He explained and the girl grinned. "Wanna skip it?"

"What? No! I skipped my class yesterday and my homeroom teacher was very mad at me."

"You're good at math, right?" She asked and he looked at her with a confused face. "Well you can't say I'm great but I ain't failing. Why?"

"Well we can just ask them to let us go so we can practice math because I need to fix my grade."

"You think that would work?" The boy asked and she smirked slightly. "Watch and learn."

She quickly made her way towards her homeroom teacher and tapped his shoulder. "Excuse me sir."

"Oh, Dohee! Is anything wrong?" Mr. Jung asked and she shook her head. "Could Asahi and I be excused during the presentation. We would use the time to practice math."

"Sure just make sure you come back by the time third lesson starts." He replied and the girl bowed slightly, making her way back towards her roommate and pulling him after her.

"Woah, wait! Where are we going?" He asked and she stopped in her tracks. "The café nearby. They have great coffee and snacks."

He mumbled an okay and they continued walking towards the place. The two walked towards the counter to order and the girl looked at the big posters on the wall with various drink recommendations.

He cleared his throat, making her look at him. "Could you please let go of my hand now?" Asahi asked and she quickly let go of his hand turning towards the girl who stood on the other side of the counter.

"One coffee milk tea for me and," She turned towards Asahi, waiting for him to say his order. "Iced coffee."

"Iced coffee for him." She finished her sentence and the employee smiled at the two. "Take a seat, I'll bring you your order in a bit."

They sat down at the corner and waited for their order, a few minutes later the waitress arrived with their drinks and after they paid walked back towards the counter.

Silence surrounded them as he looked at the drink in front of him and she looked around the café, amazed by the beautiful interior.

"You told me that you're an introvert. How come you are so talkative?" Asahi broke the silence and she pursed her lips. "I, well, uhhhhh-"

"Maybe I shouldn't have asked." He mumbled and she shook her head. "No, it's okay, I did tell you about it so maybe you should know the full story. I just don't know where to start." A slight chuckle left her mouth.

"When I was a kid I was very shy and barely spoke with anyone besides my family and a few friends. Public speech is something that worries me until this day."

She paused to take a sip of her drink. "So, in seventh grade I got bullied and I started homeschooling. While I spent time at home I started thinking about myself and was like yo bro what the fuck? So I started slowly changing and overcoming social anxiety. Two years later I started high school and here I am."

Asahi listened to her story and she cleared her throat as she finished. "I still feel awkward around most people but I'll somehow overcome it. I hope."

"I wasn't expecting something like this." He mumbled and she chuckled."No need to get all depressing now. Just, forget I ever said anything. Not a lot of people know about this and,"

"Why did you tell me then?" He cut her off and she let out a loud sigh. "I don't know. I guess I trust you enough."

"I don't know what to say."

"You don't have to say anything. Like I said, just forget I said anything."

"If you say so."

They both kept quiet as the music played from the speaker not too far away from them. "I lied to you about why I'm in Korea."

He said and she hummed an okay. "My parents are divorced and I moved here to live with my grandma. Sadly she's no longer with us."

"I'm sorry for your loss."

"It's alright."
