Dohee stood in front of the dorm, her hands in her pockets as she waited for her brother to arrive. "And then they say girls are taking ages to get ready." She mumbled just before her brother arrived.

"Let's go!" Doyoung said and linked their arms, walking away from the school ground. In no time they were at the café. "You go sit, I'll order."

"Okie dokie yo." The girl said and did a few gang signs, walking towards the corner she usually sat at. She vibed with the music as she took off her jacket and put it over her backpack.

"I also ordered some food, so we can eat later on." Her brother said as he sat down next to her. "Genius idea!" She smiled and a few moments later a waiter brought their orders.

"So-" Doyoung was a cut off when his sister's phone buzzed, meaning she had received a new message. "Wait, let me just check who it is." Dohee said and reached for her phone, unlocking it right after.

A small pout played on her lips as she left her phone on the table in front of her. "Who is it?" Her brother asked and she looked up at him. "Asahi. He says he bought food."

"Why do you look sad though?" He asked and a sigh left her mouth as she moved a hand through her hair. "I feel bad for declining his offer to eat."

"Oh my God, you'd rather eat than hang out with me!?" Doyoung dramatically gasped and a chuckle ledt her mouth as she slightly hit his shoulder. "That's not true."

"What I want to say is that we are finally getting closer and he's starting to actually communicate with me. Now I said no, what if I hurt his feelings?"

"Do, you're overreacting. I'm sure he understands so don't worry." Her brother said, holding her hand reassuringly. She smiled slightly at him and took a sip of her drink.

"So, what did you want to talk about?"

"I don't know, just, life, I guess?" Doyoung leaned back in his seat and nodded his head. "Yeah, that makes sense. We haven't had a serious talk in years."

"After what happened that night when I saw Hyunsuk and Jangmi and after what she had told me. Then the fire at my hall and me being roomed with Asahi. Not to mention all the studying because I had to fix my grades. It's all just too much, I'm tired. I just want to go home and sleep."

"I know it's overwhelming but I know you're strong and you will get through it. You have me, Jihoon, Hyunsuk, mom and dad. We are all here for you, we'll try our best to help you. You just have to wait a little bit longer."

"Thank you Dobby, you always know what to say." She smiled at him and he chuckled. "I got it from dad." He flipped his non existent long hair, making the other laugh. "So, tell me how's it going between you and Asahi."

"What do you mean?" She asked, slight blush spreading across her face. "I'm your brother sweety, I can see right through you and let's be honest, your tomato red face isn't helping you."

"What?" She whisper yelled and quickly covered her face, feeling her cheeks warm up. "Woah, are you crushing on your roommate?"

"No?" Her reply came off as a question more than an answer. "Oh my god, yOU ARE CRUSHING ON HIM!!" Doyoung loudly gasped and Dohee sighed. "What about Hyunsuk? Are you finally getting over him?"

"To be honest with you, I don't think I even had feelings for him. That night when I saw them two in that alleyway I was more hurt by the fact he didn't say anything after everthing she had told me than the fact they were making out."

"Hm, that does make sense but tell me more about your roommate."

"Well, he's good looking, I can't deny it. But when I just moved there, he wouldn't even want to speak to me and I annoyed him. One day I saw him with his friends and he looked so happy and I swear to god; He's a softie. Also his smile could cure diseases."

"Ma'am, you're whipped."

"Also, for some reason I felt comfortable enough to tell him about seventh grade."

"Woah, he must really be special to you."

"I don't know but like, I feel comfortable around him and I really want to become closer to him. I want to be friends with him even after I go back to my room."

"So, when do I meet him?"

"I don't know. I first have to make sure he's comfortable enough being around me and then I'll let you guys meet or whatever."

Suddenly Dohee's phone started ringing and she quickly looked at the caller id, a wide smile on her lips.

'Mom🥺💚'

"Hey mom!!" She happily said and her mother's worried voice rung through the other line. "Dohee! Oh my god, are you okay??"

"Huh, what?"

"I heard about the fire, I'm sorry I haven't found out earlier I was away for business." She explained and Dohee chuckled. "Don't worry mom, I'm alright. The fire happened while I was in school so luckily I passed uninjured."

"What about Jangmi, is she alright?" Dohee sighed. "She's alright but we don't talk anymore."

"Why? What happened?" Her mom asked and the girl cleared her throat. "I'll tell you when we come for holidays. I'm with Doyoung right now and he wants to talk to you."

She handed the phone over to her younger brother and he greeted their mother with a big smile plastered over his face.

Her hands gripped on the almost empty cup in front of her as she waited for her brother to end the call so they can continue conversing.
