You seem to know the world with your head held high.
You search for things you know you'll never find.
You keep it all in to hide the pain.
The real struggle is finding a release.
Letting go - Being free.
Then, weakness is shown and you retreat.
No one can see you're just like them.
We're all the same in different ways.
Trying to find happiness in a place full of hate.
Trying to gasp for air in the crowd,
To fit in when we want to stand out.
The best way to leave is to turn around.
If you face that place you'll only bow down.
Running straight toward the thing you know you don't want.
Take it back before you realize it was wrong.
Regret, it'll eat you alive.
You're full of it now,
'Cause you didn't turn a blind eye.
You'll be okay...This time,
But think before you make your next choice.
