Are You Going to Fight?

You moved on so quick.
I was lost in my mind while you found her.
Now here you are, back at my door.
You want me, so you say.
You're willing to do anything.

Less than a week was all it took.
You said it was to make me jealous, but you couldn't even look at me.
You never fought for me.
But I didn't fight for you either.
We ignored each other & avoided the pain.

I'm worth the torture?
I'm permanently in your mind.
I'm killing you, but you love the fact that it's me?
I'm thrilled you like this punishment of sorts, even though I didn't do a thing.

You caused this pain yourself.
You should have never fallen for me.
I'm indecisive & utterly confused.
I'll play you & make you think you have a chance.
But I know the truth.

I don't know what I want.
I want you, but without the pain.
I'm scared to trust you.
Should I give in, or fight till there's nothing worth fighting for?

This is so tiring.
I don't want to do this anymore.
You said you'll wait & fight for me.
