** I like to write these songs that I guess you could call response songs, so that's what this is. Basically what you do is you find a song that is "talking" to someone, or based toward a person, then you write what you think the person the song is based toward would say. Or it could be any song you like and just want to write another point of view for. I am responding to the song Moments by One Direction. I know a lot of people don't like them, but this song has a lot of meaning. It's about someone committing suicide and they want to go back in time. So I writing from the perspective of the person committing suicide, what they see as they're leaving and yeah. I hope you enjoy this, and I actually finished this piece. So I'm very proud of this! Also, go look up the lyrics to Moments and feel free to compare my work to the actual song.**

Hiding in your room, crying all alone.

Sitting in the dark, missing my touch.

You wanna be beside me.

To feel my love.

You try to hide this, but you're giving up.

Your heart beats faster as you try to escape the time.

Your hands began to shake as you touch my face.

You look away to fight the pain.

Tears began to fall, staining your cheeks.

You want to go back to yesterday, to live one more day.

Time isn't turning back but I know if it could you'd be...

The breath filling my chest.

The noise filling the air, falling from my mouth.

My existence, inside and out.

The beat of my heart, giving love to all those around.

You'd be living in the here and now.

This moment of sweet simplicity.

You'd find the things to make me rethink,

before I left you this way.

Shut yourself inside, don't let anyone in.

You don't want the pain to come barreling in.

Don't want to let them see the scars I left behind.

I wish I was with you; to not see you alone.

You can't think of what's best, my reason for leaving.

No more touching my face, holding my hand.

Your voice has lost all life to cry out.

You try to find your breath to scream out your hurt.

It only make things harder to not be heard.

As the tears stain your face again.

Memories playing in my mind.

Rewinding the time.

Being with you in the dark of night.

Running through the house with socks on my feet.

Losing feeling in my toes, as I move toward the edge.

There's things in you room that belong to me in the drawer.

My tennis shoes at the end of the stairs.

As I end it all I can feel the weight fall.

Make you laugh one more time so you'll remember me well.

I know you'll be

The breath filling my chest.

The noise filling the air, falling from my mouth.

My existence, inside and out.

The beat of my heart, giving love to all those around.

You'd be living in the here and now.

This moment of sweet simplicity.

You'd find the things to make me rethink,

before I left you this way.

This moment of sweet simplicity,

I'm sorry to leave you this way.
