[Klaus]

As I packed for the next nine months away from home, Hayley entered my room. "Klaus? Yes love? Are you alright?" My eyes instantly went to her stomach. She held a hand over it.

"I'm fine. I just wanted to talk to you about our little girl's future. Girl?" I asked and she nodded, a smirk shifting across her features. "I have a feeling it's a girl. Already? You're barely showing. So?" I walked closer to her. "And if it's a boy? It's not going to be a boy! I just know it's a girl." She said and I laughed. She joined shortly after. "What did you want to speak with me about? I have a feeling the witches and Jaiden won't stop until they have me and the baby.

And if they do somehow get me, I want you to do everything in your power to make sure they don't take our child. Hayley they won't take you. You don't know that Klaus. For all we know, they're coming up with a way to destroy you." Hayley said and I sighed. She was right.

"Just promise me you will. If they ever come after her...,"

"They'll be met with their deaths." Hayley smiled and gave me a kiss on the lips. She pulled away seconds after and backed away.

"I have to go now. Gotta pack." Hayley left me alone in my thoughts. I just hope Hayley is wrong. I can't lose her after all this. I refuse to.

[Plantation]

It was the same as I remembered. Old, dusty, and classic. It brought back memories of before. Before I met Hayley.

How far I've risen.

I grabbed Hayley's bag and mine walking inside. Freya followed us, walking up the stairs as Hayley gaped at the place. "Hayley you've seen better. So? This place is awesome and only two Original lives here. Not all five." Hayley said and wandered into the kitchen.

"But we need to go grocery shopping. I need to go grocery shopping. You go nowhere. Klaus we talked about this." Hayley whined.

"Before a golem came after you and attacked us. We beat it, no problem. They can send more. Bottom line, you're not leaving this house. Rebekah may come here but you're not leaving this house."

Hayley pouted and sat on the steps. "Such a buzz kill." She murmured making me laugh. "Don't you want to choose you're room? I hope you mean our room." Hayley corrected passing me up the stairs. "Of course." I smiled. We entered room after room but didn't choose any. Looking into the last room it had a duvet with an empty mattress. The room was a bland white with one dresser and a chester. It also had a body length mirror making Hayley smile. A window was also there.

"This is nice. It's the same as the last two. Are not. We're staying in here." Hayley smiled. Then she sneezed. "But first, cleaning it out. I can do that easily. You go downstairs and talk with Freya. Okay. I'll call you if you need anything."

Hayley smiled at me before leaving. I put down our bags and sighed. Then hearing a honking horn I sped downstairs to see Rebekah with cleaning supplies and other things in her car.

"You forgot much Niklaus!" She yelled and I smiled walking outside. "Thank you sister. Oh no problem. Now come along. You've got a house to clean."

[Hours Later]

It was past 11 by the time I had finished. I doubted everyone was awake but I was surprised to see I was only half right. Hayley laid asleep on the couch with a blanket and pillow. Rebekah and Freya sat across each other talking.

"Niklaus, you're finished. Good. Take your girlfriend upstairs to bed. Then go to bed yourself. You need it." She told me and I shook my head with a smirk. "What? I never thought I'd live to see the day where you told me what to do. Just do it." She said and I picked up Hayley. She pulled the cover up to her mouth and snuggled into me. Turning, I walked upstairs and laid Hayley down on our now clothed bed.

I kissed her forehead, and smiled walking out the room. I closed the door and walked back downstairs. Freya and Rebekah were at the door. "I'll be back with groceries in the morning. Goodnight elder sister. Goodnight Nik."

Rebekah waved and left. Freya closed the door and yawned. "Sleep sister. Doing magic must take a toll on you." She smiled a lazy grin and waved passing me on the stairs.

I walked upstairs as well and entered my room. I discarded my shirt and pants, getting into the duvet next to Hayley. I covered up both in the bigger comforter, and pulled her back to my chest, snaking my arm around her waist. I buried my nose into her hair smiling.

She always did smell nice. The more I blinked the more tired I got. Then I closed my eyes and drifted off into sleep.
