A full moon was fast approaching and as Hellhounds, transformation never plagued them. But they did get more feral and emotional.

"So how does this work?" Hayley asks and winces as he injects a solution of vervain and wolfsbane into her neck.

"Basically, we stay inside of the dungeons seperate from one another so that we don't kill each other." Hayley nods, already feeling the affects of the Turning.

"But for you, since it's your first time turning, you'll be turning fully. Sadly."

She rubs her neck and shifts her shoulders. "Ah," she whines. "So we set up now?"

"The hellhounds have already headed into their bunkers. The ones in the pack house as you can see," she and Jaiden descend the stairs seeing the hellhounds moving this around, taking food to the basement, meat mainly, raw and bloody.

She licks her lips.

"Are dividing the meat. Come on, your cell is pretty close to mine."

I glance down at the GPS and look back onto the road quietly. "Go over the plan one more time?" I ask for the fifth time on the road trip. The sun dips below the horizon.

Freya sighs. "Using the spell I found, I'll turn Hayley's humanity back on and get our brothers back." She rubs her forehead. "But what if Hayley doesn't come back? I hurt her and I could see the heartbreak." Freya said forlornly.

"It broke all of our hearts Freya. But I'm sure she'll accept your apology after you explain."

"Let's hope."

The bad part about having a bond with someone you love is when you feel their pain. I was warned by Jaiden earlier but the real thing was like the night I turned for the first time.

"Agh!" I cry out feeling the pain of a broken bone course through my leg, and sigh when it mends again. I slump in the air gratefully. "This must really be hurting her." I say and look up at my brothers who are also looking around.

Just then, fire floods my veins and I scream loudly, feeling pain growing everywhere. I could hear one in tune with mine: Hayley's. While hers turned to howls, mine turned to whimpers.

"Jesus, that's worse than turning." I grunt. Suddenly scratching comes from the darkness. I jerk upward and come to stand on shaking knees. "Who's there!?"

"Of course you'd ask." I hear Kol say but keep my eyes on the darkness. There's a spark and I see my subject just for a second; a hunched over wolf with blackened fur that seemed burned. Their eyes glowed with the red flame of hatred.

"Bloody hell." I gulp and a paw finds its place in the light and I see it in full. The floor burns beneath their paws and they snarl. Behind them, Jaiden comes into light, his eyes a bloody red. His teeth are pointed as well as his ears with claws scraping the wall.

"Hello Mikealson brothers," he snarls. He flexes his claws and I growl at him.

"What could you possibly want from us? To flaunt?" Jaiden rolls his eyes.

"Stop being dramatic. Why flaunt when you can see for yourself that you've lost?"

Suddenly, a door is kicked in and Jaiden and Hayley turn to see Rebekah and Freya. Rebekah speeds over to Jaiden and holds him to the wall, holding his mouth closed so he doesn't bite her. "Freya! Get to Hayley!"

"Easier said than done!" Freya says and storms over to us. Hayley snarls at her, snapping her jaws and crouching.

"Hayley no!" I shout and she whines, curling in on herself. I remember our bond and I lean forward, gritting my teeth. "Resist it!" I shout and she couched, poised, ready to move but letting Freya come closer.

"Hayley kill her!" Jaiden, who had broken free of Rebekah's hold shouted. Hayley whines again, weaker. "Tear open her throat! She hurt you!" Hayley's whine turns into a pained howl as she crouched lower, covering her eyes.

"I said KILL HER!"

Jaiden roars loudly and Hayley pounces on Freya but doesn't attack. She's restraining. I could see Freya pressing her hand to Hayley's chest and her saying a spell under her breath.

Jaiden roars and throws Rebekah off and picking up a piece of splintered wood. "No!" Kol shouts when Jaiden impaled her through her chest.

I knew Rebekah wasn't dead but seeing her skin turn ashen and grey made me gulp. Was this what Jaiden wanted? Us dead? Did he want us to suffer? Why?

Jaiden stalked over to Hayley and shoved her off. "I'll show you how it's really done." He picks Freya up by her neck, squeezing tightly. Freya kicks her legs back and forth, trying to say a spell but with her windpipe crushing, she couldn't.

"Jaiden stop! Please!" I hadn't said please on a very long time. Neither have I felt actual fear but this situation brings the human in me out. The boy that never truly left. "Stop!"

Jaiden grits his teeth, slowly getting closer to killing Freya-

A blur of darkened grey crashes into Jaiden and he rolls away from Freya. I look over with my eyes widened to see Hayley clawing at Jaiden's face with a growl. She keeps going until Jaiden claws open her throat.

My throat feels like it's burning and I choke, coughing and squeezing my eyes closed.

"You should have listened to me Hayley." Jaiden shoves her off and Hayley fall onto her side, jerking. Her skin lets off a hiss as her throat heals. Jaiden snarls at her and advances on her limp frame as Freya takes the piece of wood out of Rebekah.

"They wronged you. And you'll still help them over me? When will you learn!?" He kicks Hayley into the wall and she cries out. "I am the only one that loves you! They don't love you like I do! Your precious family has done nothing for you!" Jaiden steps on Hayley, pressing down on her.

Anger fills me so quickly that I see red. "GET AWAY FROM HER!" I shout and with the strength I have, I pull at the chains, grunting. They break.

Jaiden whirls toward me just so I could speed over and stick my hand into his chest. He gasps but then laughs. "Kill me and you kill Hayley."

My eyes widen then narrow. I quickly pull my hand out and snap his neck instead. He drops and I step over him to touch Hayley.

She jumps and growls at me. "Hayley it's me. Calm down." She still growls. "I won't hurt you. I swear." I whisper and hesitantly, let Hayley sniff my hand.

She lets her head drop into my hand with a huff. "Oh Hayley," I whisper remorseful. Her skin is a bit rough but her fur is soft. I rub in between her ears and she collapses into my lap. "I got you love. I've got you."
