[Third Person P.O.V]

As Klaus became conscious, he felt weak. Opening his eyes, he saw that he was in front of a slab of concrete off the ground.

He turned his head and tugged on his chains that bound him. He groaned, feeling his power draining him at a constant rate.

"Think he's awake for real this time? He has to be. I want him awake for this." He heard Jaiden and instantly he was tugging forward with his strength. It wasn't much. "Oh. I think he's awake now." Klaus growled at the man in front of him.

"Save your strength. You'll need it. What did you do? I drugged you heavily with vervain and wolfsbane. You've been in and out for weeks. Giving us all the time to prepare. Prepare what?"

Jaiden smirked. "Genevieve! Bring her in." He stood in front of Klaus until the last second. When he stepped aside, Klaus gasped. Who had entered shocked him. It was Hayley. She was in Genevieve's arms. Blood drained from his face seeing her throat that was slit.

"No! She's a hybrid. Not anymore. While you were getting your beauty sleep, the witches cast a spell transforming her back into a wolf. Since it was no full moon, she was powerless.

Genevieve threw her to the floor. Her body flopped onto her back, and Klaus saw her scraped arms and legs. He shook in his chains as Jaiden turned to leave with the redhead.

Turning back at the last second, Jaiden smirked at Klaus.

"Oh and congrats! It's a girl."

Klaus' eyes widened, snapping to Hayley whose stomach was flat. His eyes teared at the sight. He heard Jaiden's laugh and worked a lot faster to get free. He struggled more and more until he heard grunts outside his door.

He was relieved at who had came. "Marcel." The vampire sped over and broke the doll over Klaus' head. Klaus dropped and crawled over to his love. He propped himself against the table, holding Hayley in his arms.

Her body which was always warm, was cold to the touch. He heard no heartbeat. Only saw blood on her and saw the wetness on her face. He looked up at Marcel as he cried. Marcel looked away. Pulling her closer, Klaus sobbed into her chest. He felt a hand on his shoulder but didn't pull away.

"Klaus...your daughter. She's alive." This got Klaus' attention. "What? That girl of yours? Before Hayley died, she made it her mission to get her away." Klaus looked down at Hayley.

"After Hayley gave birth in St. Ann's, Elijah, Bex, Freya, and I went in to save her. Freya and her ran while we stayed. But I got my neck snapped.

I found that all three of them were gone. The witches too. So I came to the one place they'd be: here. I bet they want her for a ritual." Klaus looked back at Marcel. "Klaus, I know she's gone, but she'd want you to save your daughter. In fact, I know it. Honor her by doing so." Klaus sighed into her chest once more before standing up with her in his arms.

He laid her on the concrete. "I promise I'll bring her home."

He kissed Hayley's forehead before turning to Marcel. "Let's go."

They rushed towards the ritual. Marcel pointed out that he saw them setting things up there. By the time they made it to the center, it was dark and flames had risen to light the way. Jaiden and tons of others waited for them. "You're too late Klaus. I'm going to have my revenge."

Klaus saw her. The baby laid on the alter crying loudly. Her cheeks were red and she was wrapped in cloth. She was so tiny. So beautiful. He looked to Jaiden and angrily sped to him. He knocked him over, throwing him into black gates.

"How dare you!" Klaus shouted, his eyes turning black and gold. "I'll kill you for what you've done. What have I done that you haven't? Hayley had it coming either way. What do you mean?" Klaus asked angrily.

"You'll just have to ask her yourself." Jaiden tilted his head, covering his mouth with fake realization. "Oh wait...you can't."

Klaus yelled, pushing Jaiden into anothe series of black gates. Taking one, he shoved it into his heart, watching as Jaiden looked shocked.

Then, he flashed a smirk and fell to the ground dead.

Marcel was having a difficult problem
He had to deal with two other witches while Genevieve prepared to kill Klaus' daughter. And no one could save her.

Or so he thought.

A shadow walked past him in a slow pace. Turning to look, he saw familiar brown hair. He gasped. But it's impossible.

"Hayley."

Klaus breathed, coming back to the column that led to the center. He saw her as she walked up straight past the witches that fought Marcel and stood behind Genevieve with a dagger. Then in a quick rush, Hayley pushed forward, stabbing her in the back. Klaus watched in confusion as Hayley whispered words into Genevieve's ear before tearing into her neck. Once she was finished, she dropped her and she fell down the stairs.

Klaus watched as she turned and picked up her daughter. Then in silence, she turned to him. He walked forward until he was running, smiling at Hayley.

"Y-Youre alive!"

He cried happily. Then his heart broke hearing her next words.

"Do I know you?"
