[Hayley]

I pursed my lips, looking at Jaiden. His eyes are red and gold with veins underneath.

"And that's exactly why this," I gestured between us, "cannot happen. You say you love me and yet, we do everything wrong."

I whispered and Jaiden's face went slack.

"What is it that I'm doing wrong? Whatever it is, I can change it."

He promised and I looked at him softly. "Jaiden, that isn't love. Changing yourself for someone else isn't love. If you really loved me and if I really loved you, I wouldn't need for you to change."

Jaiden looked pained.

"But what we had was the best I ever had. It was all I ever had." He whimpered and I frowned.

"I didn't know that. But you and I don't work. Not to mention that you threatened my daughter and my friends."

"But you don't know them anymore," Jaiden said and I glared at him.

"And that's your fault."

Jaiden nodded looking away. "Okay. Yeah, your right."

"Jaiden, let's get this trip over with. But swear to me you won't try to turn me ever." Jaiden nodded.

"I swear. And I do apologize for that." I glared harder. "Let's go."

[Mikealson Compound]

"So what dear brother is this plan of yours?" Kol questioned as Klaus laid out a map. "I still have a couple of Hayley's things thankfully so we can track her."

"Once we get her location, we can easily find her and take out Jaiden." Rebekah shook her head and crossed her arms.

"That isn't going to be easy Nik and you know it. Hayley and Jaiden have left New Orleans already and they're on the road. On top of that, Jaiden has a bite that can kill Originals."

"But he cannot harm us thanks to Hayley's deal."

That deal was void the moment Jaiden bit me." Kol hissed angrily. "I say we call one of Klaus' old hybrids, Tyler. He is helping them isn't he?"

Klaus growled. "Don't remind me. But Tyler is free from my control and we have nothing to track him."

"We could always go to Mystic Falls. I'm sure one of his friends have something of his." Kol smirked. "I have been dying to cause some mischief in that town. It has been too long." Klaus smirked.

"It's settled then. Kol and I are going to Mystic Falls to locate something of Tyler's."

"I think you mean Kol, Elijah, and I brother." Elijah rose to a stand. "The both of you with the Mystic Fall residents will cause too much trouble."

"And what do we do? Stay here and do nothing?"

Klaus stepped close to his sister. "Of course not, I need you both here to protect my daughter."

Rebekah smiled and leaned in to hug her brother. "See you soon Nik and I swear to keep her safe."

Klaus chuckled. "I know."

Arriving in Mystic Falls was nostalgic. Seeing the Mystic Grill. Elena and Damon were there, thankfully.

"Damon Salvatore," Klaus said with a grin. It widened when Damon and Elena looked at him with shock.

"Klaus. What are you doing here?"

"Not here for mischief. Elijah's going to keep me in check. Provided you give me what I need."

Elena gulped but held her ground. "It is good to see you Elena." Elijah smiled gently and sat down.

"Now, down to business."

"We need something of Tyler Lockwood's. Maybe a shirt or a picture."

Damon stood, standing protectively in front of Elena. "And why would we do that?"

"Let's just say, we need his help in finding a... friend. And he's the only one who can track her." Elijah said and Elena watched him carefully. "Okay,"

Damon pulled Elena aside and Kol listened in.

"Are you insane? Helping the Originals? Klaus literally killed you!"

"Damon, if they're stupid enough to come back after being killed and beaten at least once, then they must be really desperate to save this girl."

"Doesn't matter. Once she gets caught up in the Originals, it's her problem."

"Damon it doesn't matter if we know them as the Originals. They are still people. And I know your capable of being a good person. Please Damon."

Kol heard Damon sigh and grinned. They came back over and Damon agreed reluctantly. "Let's just get this over with,"

"Perfect."

"But, here's the deal, Wolfy." Damon addressed Klaus. "We're coming with you. I don't want you to kill Tyler once you find him."

"No promises."

Elena's home was the same. Alaric wasn't exactly thrilled to see them either. Nor was Jeremy or Stefan.

"I just need something of Tyler's."

Klaus told them and they looked at him skeptically.

"I don't have time for this. The love of my life is going to die if you don't give me what I want!"

Everyone stood stunned at Klaus' words.

"'Love of your life' huh?"

Klaus turned sharply, glaring st the person in the doorway.

"Tyler."
