[Third Person P.O.V]
Klaus who was laid on the wall, sat up with a gasp then a groan. "Bloody hell." He rubbed the back of his neck.
Then he stood remembering what happened. "Damn." The car was gone and so was Hayley. He drove back to the compound, stomping in angrily. "I know that look, what happened?" Rebekah asked laying down the book she was reading.
"Hayley is what's wrong. She's sided with Jaiden for Jackson's life." Rebekah stood up. "What?" She asked, shocked. "Hayley wouldn't do that! Oh but she did Little Sister. She snapped my neck when I tried to bring her home. But she doesn't like Jaiden. I mean, he hates her...doesn't he?"
"That's what I would like to know."
Klaus sat down across from Rebekah sighing. "I can't believe after all we've been through, she'd abandon us."
"She doesn't remember any of that Niklaus. You must keep that in mind. She's the same Hayley but if we never had met her. But why would Genevieve want to take away Hayley's memories?"
Klaus asked. "It's not like she's valuable to the witches with them." Rebekah sat up. "But what if Genevieve wasn't the one who wanted Hayley?"
Klaus looked at his sister sitting up as well. "What are you suggesting? Don't you remember when Genevieve left Hayley with you after she gave birth to Hope? Why would she do that if she wanted her for some ulterior motive? She only took Hope."
Rebekah explained and Klaus nodded. "Well Jaiden left her with me. He would have taken her if he wanted her. But he thought she was dead."
Klaus nodded. "You're right...but that doesn't explain why he's still around. Or the fact he made a deal with Hayley. If he thought she was dead then why make a deal at all?"
Klaus asked. Rebekah thought in silence for a moment before gasping. "What?"
"Jaiden knew she was alive. He knows Hayley, Klaus. He probably knew that she would never want to become a hybrid, so he killed her and made her a hybrid to make her suffer. Then he had Genevieve take away the memories of the people she loved."
Rebekah said and Klaus nodded. "That makes the most sense. But why make a deal with her if he wanted her to suffer?"
"He doesn't just want my suffering."
Hayley's voice was small but both of them heard it. Klaus was on his feet in seconds, glaring at Hayley angrily. "Hayley."Hayley looked tired. "Let me explain. You had a chance to explain to me when I was at Rousseau's with you. But you didn't and instead you snapped my neck and left me."
"You don't give me much options Klaus! I can't trust you. Not when it has nothing to do with you in the first place."
Hayley growled at him. "Jaiden is my enemy Klaus. Not everything centers you! And to keep it that way, I made a deal with Jaiden."
Rebekah stood but with a look of disappointment. "Hayley. You don't need to protect us. Of course I do! With all of you trying to protect me at every damn turn, I can't face Jaiden myself! He'll just rope you in and torture you."
"Hayley we are the Originals-,"
"Yes you are. But your not fucking indestructible. And I know you want to help but I don't need it. I can fight Jaiden and win. Even if it requires sacrifices."
"What do you mean by that?"
Hayley sighed, flexing her right hand. "Jaiden gave me a deal. He'll leave all the people I love in exchange for leaving with him."
"What do you mean? Is he leaving New Orleans?" Rebekah asked warily. "His pack is somewhere else and when he goes to meet up with them, I'm going with him."
Klaus and Rebekah were speechless. "What?" Rebekah asked and Hayley only silently glared at the floor.
"Hayley do you have any idea of what you've done?"
Klaus asked accusatory. "Protected you, Hope, this entire family!" Hayley said angrily. "I don't care if you approve of the methods. I do what I can for those I love. If you can't understand that then I can't help you." Hayley said, arms crossed.
Rebekah sighed then stood tall. "Hayley, I think it's time you tell us your history with Jaiden."
And that's how the whole family found themselves downstairs. (Except Hope. She was asleep in her room). Hayley took a deep breath and spoke.
"Jaiden wasn't the only person I knew before turning. There was Marlen and Liam. We all were friends, and when I left, I didn't expect to see them again.
But Jaiden found me. The boy I knew was changed though. He told me that he had a witch turn him into a super wolf thing he called a hellhound. He had the temper of a wolf, the speed of a vampire, the strength of both. He was bloodthirsty.
But I didn't see it until I met his pack. Marlen and Liam were both there and both were hellhounds. It changed them." Hayley sighed looking at the glass table at her thighs. "They wanted me back. They wanted me to be a hellhound."
"I never wanted to be. I told them that, but they didn't listen. At every turn, they tried to change me. At one point Jaiden himself tried to kill me in order to make me a hellhound."
"I left them, and found a new pack. I also knew Jaiden's plans. He told me he wanted to turn everyone we knew so that he'd have an army."
"Why did he want an army?"
"Ever since I met Jaiden, I knew he was one who wanted power over anything and everything. Every game we played he'd be ring leader. That's what I thought it was for a while."
"That's what I thought it was when I found another pack and had them attack. But I was wrong. We didn't even stand a chance against them."
Hayley held her arm.
"Then, when I found Jaiden turning them all, he told me."
"He said he wanted to kill the Originals."
