[Third Person P.O.V]
"Hayley. It's good to hear your voice. Are you free sometime today?"
Hayley grit her teeth, gripping the phone. "If you're going to ask me to meet up with you somewhere, you can forget it. I don't have to do anything with you."
"Oh yes you do. In fact, you might want to or else you can kiss Jackson goodbye."
"Jackson." Hayley breathes, clenching her fist. "Where is he?"
"Right here, sitting still and safe. For now. Whether he stays that way is up to you. Meet me at Rousseau's in an hour. Oh and come alone."
Jaiden hung up but Hayley kept the phone to her ear. She looked up at Kol. She stood up, going to the door. "Where are you going? I know you heard the conversation Kol. He has Jackson; I have to go. Hayley think about this. I did and I'm going. Don't tell anyone okay?"
Hayley left leaving Kol alone in the courtyard.
Hayley was at the bar under an hour. She saw Josh there, wiping down bars. "Hayley. Thank God you're here." She looked at him crazily. "Sorry dude. You've got the wrong person."
Hayley passed him with a raised brow. Josh looked alarmed. Hayley looked around then spotted Jaiden with Jack. She walked over and slid into the booth, looking at Jackson. "Jackson. Good to see that you're safe. I'm so sorry. Don't apologize. It's not your fault."
Hayley glared at Jaiden. "Oh and you think it's mine? Why am I here Jaiden?" Hayley asked angrily. "You can't remember Klaus or the Mikealsons can you?"
Hayley sat back without an answer. "I'm guessing I'm correct." He raised his eyebrows. "If you give me what I want, then I'll help you get them back. I'll even leave the people you care for, alone."
"And what is it that you want? You know what I want Hayley. I've wanted it since I found you again. I'm shocked you didn't notice it was me."
Hayley crossed her arms, still glaring. "I have no idea what you're talking about. Tyler kidnapped you over a few months ago did he not?" Hayley froze.
"He was with someone else. Granted, the body was dead."
"It was you. Bingo. Give the girl a medal."
Jaiden kept his blue eyes on her as he clapped. "Now, Hayley. I know you know what I want."
Hayley had to sit for a moment. She glanced at Jackson who apparently tried to figure out what was going on.
"You swear to me you won't touch them? So long as I'm alive." Jaiden grinned.
"Fine. It's a deal."
[Klaus]
As I sat in the study, my phone rang. I pulled it out my pocket and sighed seeing Joshua calling me. "Joshua when I gave you my number and stationed you at Rousseau's, I didn't want you to call me about hot guys coming to the bar."
"I would never tell you that. Besides, that's not why I'm calling."
"Then why are you?"
"Like 30 minutes ago, Hayley came in here. She didn't know me."
"Well, she doesn't remember you because you were associated with me and now that I'm erased from her mind, so are you."
"Okay also, she went to go sit with this dude and Jackson from her pack. I listened in and I heard that the dude is Jaiden."
I stood from my chair walking from my study to downstairs. "What did you just say?"
"Jaiden and Hayley are discussing something. I'm not listening too much but, Hayley is making some sort of deal with him. Crap-,"
Klaus stopped hearing Josh. "Joshua what is it?"
"Hayley! Hi. Need a drink?"
Josh sounded distant and Klaus guessed that what he just said was not for him.
"From the name tag, I gather your name is Josh. Yep that's me. Then bartender. Only the bartender."
Klaus listened intently.
"Listen, I'm not an idiot. I know a vampire when I see one. And I know you were listening in on my conversation. And I also know that Klaus is on the phone. Give it to me."
Klaus' eyes widened. He pulled the phone away just as he heard Hayley take it from him when Josh wouldn't hand it over.
"Hayley."
"Give me one good reason as to why I shouldn't kill him."
"Because he's my minion and is needed. I need him." Klaus explained in a calm voice as he walked to the courtyard.
"To what? Spy on me? Keep tabs on your precious baby mama at all times?"
Klaus glared at the air, hearing Hayley. "As a matter of a fact, yes. Because apparently I can't trust you enough to keep yourself or my child safe."
He heard Hayley's scoff. "Klaus, she isn't just yours and you know it. And don't go playing the 'keeping her safe' card. I have my ways and so do you. If you don't like it then that's too bad."
Hayley hung up on him. Klaus growled and walked to the door, heading to Rousseau's.
He arrived seeing Hayley, Jackson, and Jaiden going out the back. He followed them and saw as Hayley compelled Jackson as Jaiden stood there. He spotted Klaus first.
"Looks like we have a guest." Hayley finished and sent Jackson his way before turning to Klaus. "Klaus, I'd say it's an honor but it really isn't."
"Shut up. I'm not here to deal with you." Jaiden smirked.
Klaus walked over to Hayley and grabbed her arm. He dragged her a few feet away from Jaiden and spoke. "What the bloody hell are you doing here? Minding my own business which is what you should be doing."
"Hayley you cannot make a deal with him. Who I make a deal with is none of your concern. On the contrary. Now as much as I don't want to hurt you, I will if it means I bring you back."
Hayley glared up at Klaus. "I swear to God Klaus, if you touch me, I will hurt you." Klaus grabbed her arm.
She slapped him across the face, and then threw him off her. He looked at her hard stare. "Don't try to stop me. I won't hesitate like the old Hayley would."
Hayley turned her back to him. Her mistake. He grabbed her in his arms and she struggled. Glancing over her shoulder, she saw Klaus' angry expression.
"You really want to do this? Here? Now?" She asked in a whisper. "No better time than the present, love." Hayley smirked. She brought herself back to the ground and spun in his arms, elbowing him in the chest. She kicked him back then ran up and slammed his head into her knee.
He stumbled away with a string of curses. Hayley pushed him into the wall. "You aksed for this Klaus."
She snapped his neck and let him fall to the ground. She felt guilty but told herself he'd just get in the way.
"Come along, Hayley. We have a while before this deal is sealed."
