A Confession Made

[Mikealson Compound]

Klaus stood silently beside his brother as he laid in bed, wheezing. Davina stood on the other side, putting a hot towel on his forehead. He heard a knock on the front door with his super hearing and looked to Davina.

"Keep him hydrated." She nodded and Klaus turned away, going to the door. It was a human; one he didn't recognize.

He pulled a bottle full of blood from his bag, holding it out. "Jaiden sends his deepest apologies and the cure."

Klaus's eyes widened and he took the bottle, going to Davina upstairs. "Here. It's the cure." Davina immediately takes it and Klaus goes back downstairs to the door.

The servant was gone, a note in its place. Klaus picked it up, closing the door and looking down at the note.

'Keep her safe.'

Klaus recognized the handwriting easily and frowned knowing it was Hayley's. She was leaving. Klaus stuffed the note in his pocket, going upstairs and saw Kol up and stretching.

"How are you feeling brother?" Kol looked over at him as he walked inside. Kol smiled. "Better now that the bite is gone. The blood worked."

"Where is Hayley?"

Freya looked down in shame, shuffing on her feet. "She left." Klaus responded after a moment and Kol looked at him sadly.

"Why? She was okay yesterday wasn't she?"

Freya sighed looking up. "Blame me, brother. I was angry at her for what happened to you." Freya explained and Kol sped her into a wall. "Why would you do that!?"

"Kol!" Elijah put a hand on his shoulder. "Hayley is the one who put our lives above our own! She made a decision to stay with us and you make her leave?"

"Hayley was the only protection we had! What happens when she returns and it's gone!? What then?" Kol asked angrily, still gripping onto Freya.

"Kol, enough!" Klaus shouted, pulling his little brother away. "Hayley left of her own accord last night." Kol glared at Freya.

"I wonder why that is."

"Well it doesn't matter," Klaus said to get Kol and everyone else's attention.

"Because we're getting her back."

[Jaiden's House]

Hayley and Jaiden stood silently next to one another, waiting as their things were loaded into his SUV.

"Where are we going?" Hayley asked with crossed arms. Jaiden kept his hands in his pockets, turning to her. "We're going to Tennesse. Then we'll be with Marlen and Liam again. We'll be a group again."

Hayley glanced at his longing expression and turned to him. "If you expect a relationship out of this, you can forget it. You lost that privilege when you tried to turn me."

Jaiden sighed edging closer. "Hayley you weren't being reasonable."

"You gave me your blood and then attempted to kill me." Jaiden shrugged, an unapologetic smile on his face.

"Come on," he put an arm around her waist.

She immediately turned in his arms, pushing him off. He fell face first into the cement, splitting his lip. Blood came from it.

"You're strong." He grinned, sitting up. Hayley eyes were stuck on his lip where the blood was.

"You're bleeding."

He looked down at it, an idea in mind. "Yeah, it's thanks to you." He stood up, wiping it off on his thumb. Walking up to her, he smiled. "Do you want it?"

"Get your filthy thumb out of my face." She spat making him laugh but not move it away. Hayley scoffed and turned to get in the car but Jaiden grabbed her chin making her face him.

She struggled against his hand, angrily hitting his chest. "Aw come on Hayley. I know you want this." She hit him harder, trying to shove him off as he forced her mouth open.

Just as he was going to shove his thumb in her mouth and force her to suck, she hit the center of his pants, making him let go with a groan. She spit the blood the fell onto her tongue on him and angrily glared.

"This is what I meant." She said, watching him stand up. He looked at her through hungry eyes and she scoffed. "You're obsessed."

"You loved it."

"See that, that right there," Hayley pointed a angry smile on her face. "Loved. As in past tense. I was a kid then and I had no idea what I was doing. And it sure as hell isn't going to happen again."

"I'm going to sit in the car."

She stomped off, slamming the car door behind her. Once everything was loaded, Jaiden sat next to her in the backseat and glanced over. "Hayley...,"

"What now? Do you want to bother me some more or force blood down my throat? Again?" She asked with an accusing glare.

"I want to apologize."

Hayley's glare softened but if was still on guard. "Go on." She said and he sighed.

"Ever since I got back and we made that deal, I've been an asshole. I went after your child-,"

"How do you know she's mine? Wait, how did you know I was even alive?"

Hayley turned in her seat. "Oh that's right...your memory is still gone."

"Does that have something to do with you? Yes, actually. It wasn't the witches who...who wanted you."

Hayley looked confused for a moment before it clicked. "From the beginning it was you wasn't it? You were after my daughter-,"

"I didn't want to baby," Jaiden interrupted. "I could care less what the witches wanted with her. All I wanted was to have you back no matter the cost."

Hayley felt rage bubble up in her. "You were the one who took my memory from me weren't you? You took it all."

"I...yes."

Hayley turned away from him getting out the car. Jaiden jumped out after her, watching as she kicked at the dust. "Hayley-,"

"Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut. Up." And so Jaiden did. "It was you," Hayley laughed hysterically. "You took away everything, you fucked up my life because of your fantasy of us being together again."

Hayley glared at him. "Why didn't you just ask? Or just tell me how you felt?" It was Jaiden's turn to laugh now.

"As if you'd listen. You were head over heels in love with Klaus Mikealson. Whether you wanted to admit it or not, you were so caught up with them."

Jaiden turned to her. "There was no way that I would have gotten you to myself if you remembered them."

"Jaiden if you weren't such a fucking possessive ass person, then I would have done anything with you!"

"But it wouldn't have been what I wanted!" He shouted at her, speeding over.

"Hayley I love you!"
